We spend 3 nights at Rio Catarata Celeste and overall it was an everage stay. Our "room" was a private bungalow and it was nice located - but a bit small and it has no garderobe. The bathroom was OK, the bed should be a double-bed but it's nearly too small. The food was also OK, but no highlight. The... More

Our family (two adults, three teens) spent two nights here. We speak/write almost no Spanish, so settling details/getting directions in advance were a bit challenging at some points, but that's part of getting a bit off the beaten path. When we arrived, we found our rudimentary Spanish, combined with their basic English and a lot of gestures, worked just fine.... More

My stay here was amazing. We showed up with no reservations, don't recommend you do that, and we met the owner who was very kind. There was a mix up with the vacancy and we ended up getting the villas for the double room price. Family owned business, I recommend you take the tours with them to Rio Celeste. Food... More

We stayed here for one night to hike Rio Celeste. After an adventurous 20km on a rocky road (if you plan on driving here in a rental car, make sure it's 4WD!) we arrived and were welcomed by a wonderful staff. They gave us fresh juice and gave us a quick tour of the lush gardens and showed us to... More

I stayed here on April 22, 2016, with a few family members who are Costa Rican. The property was well maintained and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. The reason for the poor review is based on my problems with the staffing and management, as well as the fact that me and my brother, and his 1 year old... More

We booked for one night as we live in Bagaces. We booked 2 bungalows, however they tried to put us up in the standard rooms. We did get our booked rooms after contesting it. We then had Lunch which was way overpriced and honestly not very good for Costa Rican food. My brother and I both ate the Carne and... More

The place is nice, quite clean but we were disapointed by the staff, who didn't do any effort to speak english (we tried but we have a poor spanish) and to help us in our trip. The rooms were nice, you can hear the animals all the night as of you slept wrigt into the nature
