We stayed here for two days at the end of 10 days wonderful days in Costa Rica. Although we got in quite late, around 7:00 p.m. we were still able to get some dinner. It is a safe property, quiet, nice dinner ($12), with wine and beer being available. For breakfast we asked if we could get fried eggs as...

We stayed here on our arrival to Costa Rica and for a couple of days before we left. The rooms are large and clean, the view is breathtaking, and the grounds pretty, secure, and peaceful. The hosts go out of their way to help you (they found us a rental car and did a 5 AM drop-off at the airport)...

Although a bit out of town, it's such a beautiful location that the taxi ride is worth it. In a peaceful rural suburb of a rather frantic city, this is restful, attractive - and you can have your evening meal there too (great at the end of a busy day). We were even driven to the airport at 6am by...

The hotel was extremely pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful. Do NOT use the rental car company the hotel recommends, CR-Save Rent A Car. We had a very bad experience which involved the agency representative.

I stayed at this B&B the night I arrived in Costa Rica. It's conveniently close to the airport, and with an arrival time of 11:00pm, all I was wishing for was a comfortable bed and a good night's rest. The hosts were very welcoming and gracious. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with much more than bedroom basics -...

This B&B is close to airport (10 min drive). Despite this, we had a stunning mountain view (expected an airport hotel, but it was nothing like that). There is a gorgeous big garden with beautiful trees & flowers, it's nice and quiet with a great service from the 3 sweet lady's! I also had a great massage after a 24...

This well run B&B Hotel by a German lady is a short distance from Costa Rica airport, but in a quiet residential neighborhood, over a ridge away from any airport noise. and with a lovely garden and view. If you book a room for at least 2 days, the pick-up service from the airport is free. The attentive and thoughtful...

I started my trip here in the Alajuela "suburb" of San Jose, Costa Rica. This small hotel was booked sight unseen, and I was SO pleased. First of all, the staff is friendly and accommodating so that I felt right at home. The room which I had was simply furnished and very clean. Internet was complimentary and free. The property...

Just one night here, but it was great. Well kept, clean, nice decor, and a nice dinner for $12 extra (fairly important, as the neighborhood us not walkable or nice; a strong gate made us feel completely safe). View of the nearby hill is lovely, the back gardens are well maintained and pleasant, and the staff was warm and fun...

We had a very nice experience staying at Linda Montana the first few days we were in Costa Rica. This hotel is situated outside of Alajuela downtown, in the suburb surroundings. Alajuela is just a small city and a 10 minute car ride away. It is handy to have a car available. We, however, travelled Costa Rica with public transport....
