Far from town, accommodations were dated and smelled musty. I was hoping for a peaceful stay for a night or two and learn a bit about the coffee plantation. I had spoke with someone on the phone that said they would send an email to confirm my reservation, which I never received. When I arrived I was shown a room...

The B&B is in an old renovated house, behind a gate on beautiful grounds. There are many tropical plants, flowers, and trails. Breakfast was also pretty good on a nice outdoor terrace. For us, that's where the good points end. This B&B is listed on the website for Doka Estate, a nearby coffee plantation with a great tour. It appears...

A wonderful way to start off a trip through Costa Rica. It was the perfect spot to decompress from the city and busy lifestyles we lead in the city. We took a gorgeous walk early in the morning along their discovery trail. We were treated with warm hospitality and had a great little breakfast before heading off for our coffee...

This is a great spot to start or end a trip to Costa Rica. This is a quiet and beautiful B & B which is less than 1 hour from the San Jose Airport. Also near the stunning Poas Volcano and the wonderful Doka Coffee Plantation (tours available).

The caretakers were friendly and hospitable and made the best gallo pinto I've ever had! Breakfast was fabulous overall. The rooms were small, especially the bathrooms, and we...
