The best part of the experience starts at check-in in the 600 sq meter lobby filled with beautiful antiques, ivory emperor-statutes, Jade monuments and then continues in the suites, mine of the 9th floor overlooking a bustling city - Shanghai -. Great beds, super showers/bath, good towels, and perfect telecom-systems, once you figured out that wi-fi is not your choice,...

I stayed here for one night with my mother. We were travelling through Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and this hotel is kind of at a convenient location. The room was very spacious and it was very reasonably priced at 650 RMB a night (100 dollars about). However, the carpet was very dirty and even though there were "no smoke" signs, you...

We stayed here 3 night during a city trip. The hotel is nice and serves a decent breakfast (even quite a few western items). Quiet atmosphere & friendly staff. Contrary to other beds in China these beds were very comfortable (not too hard)

The room is long and narrow, relatively large in terms of size. There is a living room in between the restroom and bedroom which is seldom seen at a hotel. I took more than half an hour to check out as we had a dispute. The hotel claim some items were disappear in the refig and the liner is dirty...

First impressions of the Sky Fortune Hotel are good. Upon entering the vast, palatial lobby you are greeted with stunning works of art and antiques. Check in is smooth and efficient and service is generally good. The breakfast buffet features a good selection of well-prepared Western and Chinese dishes, but some of the sushi, rolls, and fruit were not fresh...

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. It is very luxurious and the rooms are spacious. The gym was surprisingly good considering this is China, I was able to do deadlifts there (my favorite exercise!). Though there aren't a ton of restaurants or interesting places nearby, the walk to the nearest subway station (Caohejing Hi-Tech Park) is less than 10 minutes away,...

The best Chinese operated hotel I have stayed at. Even though most staff did not speak English but this is expected as I do not speak Chinese. Rooms was a great size with automatic everything. Breakfast was a little disappointing but nothing to be concerned about.

Lobby and common areas are all overly decorated. Chandeliers everywhere, even at the gym. Overall rooms are great and spacious and the double bed in our room was massive. But big minus and a reason for me not to return is that the room's wall to wall carpet was filthy and the room was dusty. I don't think this hotel...

I booked this hotel after reading the reviews on TA, since I needed to stay in the Hongqiao area for one night. I can confirm that this place is definitely palatial in terms of the lobby and its collection of antiques. The rooms are spacious and the hallways quite grand, if you like that sort of thing. The bathroom seems...

West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities. While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
