This hotel overlooks the river in Shanghai. It's about an hour from the International airport. The room I was allocated was on the 40th (top) floor and was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Everything necessary was provided and was in great condition. I had supper in the Eton Cafe on the 3rd floor. The spread of food in the buffet...

Pro's: 1. Location: convenient. Subway station is just across the street. 2. Overall: Pretty clean and tidy 3. House keeping: Fast and efficient (we asked for a replacement box of tissue. The minute we hung up the phone, the minute the house keeping staff knocked on our door.) 4. Hotel quality - hard ware: not bad. Con's: 1. Check in:...

Just an average hotel for me. Did not meet my expectation considering the brand and the rate. I guess the hotel itself is very good. I think it's the service that put Eton not the best hotel for me. Some were excellent but some were rude. But most staff we encountered are not welcoming. Not the best location also but...

Had a great experience at this hotel. Breakfast was fantastic. All the room facilities were great. Even the health club, locker rooms, swimming pool were all very good. Only thing was the hot tub was not hot, but that seemed minor compared to how great everything else was.

Small lobby, small regular rooms, very nice deluxe rooms on the high floors from 38 and above. Around the hotel constructions 24 hours a day which makes the hotel not so comfortable due to the noise and traffic conjunctions

The Eton hotel is a good choice if you have eyes wide open. It is rated a 5 star hotel and much about it is 5 star. There are elegant ancient art reproductions in the hallways, there is very good service throughout and the rooms are well appointed. The location is a little outside the LuJiaZui hot zone – but...

Nice hotel, with the most wonderful buffet breakfast ever (both traditional Chinese and Western style). The problem is the location. It is not in the nicest part of town, but on a very impersonal boulevard with huge warehouses and industrial looking design centers. Very few (if any) restaurants around. You can find better.

The Eton has a very good location basically on top of a line 4 metro station. Also the skyscrapers of Pudong (WFC, JinMao Tower, Oriental Pearl...) can be easily reached on foot in around 15mins. The view from the rooms looking towards Pudong is spectacular, both during the day and at night. Room size is decent. The rooms are generally...
