This hotel has been recently renovated, room is clean and spotless. Buffet breakfast is decent (if not included in room price, can be purchased for 38 Yuan - less than $6). If coming from Pudong Airport, best to get off st Shanghai Stadium station - exit 4 and it's a 5 to 10 minute walk to property. The hotel also... More

If you are looking to stay on a low budget in Shanghai, the Home Inn Pluses are a great choice! Newly renovated so everything is clean and new. The room we had was a bit small but modern, comfortable bed and the bathroom was big with a very nice shower. The reception doesn't really speak English but were very friendly... More

Recommended by my Chinese friend in China, we decided to take up the booking for our 4days trip in a Shanghai Exhibition. The hotel is new, quiet and well maintained. Booked a twin bed room, very spacious & clean. Requested for non smoking room but the reservation staff didn't attend to this request, this is a minus mark for the... More

I travelled to Shanghai very frequently last month and I always stayed in one budget hotel until I discovered this one which is 5 mins walk from where I stayed before. Surprisingly good! It's called Home Inn Plus which is the premium line of the Home Inn hotel chain. Newly renovated and it doesn't look like a budget hotel at... More

A person to go to Shanghai, find their own room, feeling very good. The room is clean, the room has what problem to solve, the bed is soft, I most like soft things. So I in my schedule for two more days of home.

I'm still staying at this hotel as I write this review; it's mid-June 2012 and I'm paying about RMB300 a night. Overall, this is a pretty good value. The rooms are larger and nicer than other Home Inns I have seen, but this ain't no Hyatt Regency. The location is the winner here. You're fairly close to the main Shanghai... More

Small clean rooms and unobtrusive staff combined with low nightly rates and a good location in the Xujiahui commercial area. Not quite far enough off the road to reduce vehicle noise, and the walls are paper-thin — conversations at normal voice levels can be heard in adjacent rooms. Water pressure is a bit of a gamble, so be ready to... More

I stayed here for four days while in Shanghai and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look too much on the outside but inside it is nice. The single room was reasonably sized and very clean. Broadband access is free in the rooms and if you don't have a laptop you can use their computer next to reception for a small... More

Like all of the other Home Inns I stayed in in China, the Shanghai Xu Jia branch was cosy in that you knew exactly what you were getting and what the room would look like/include. As usual the room size was great for the price. The location is the Xujia branch's main draw card - it is within extremely close... More
