Very nice property. Good and spacious rooms. It took me almost 2 hours to check-in as the staff there did not understand English and had to talk in sign languages. The property is 20 min away from metro station and does not have any good international food joint near by.

I was in Shanghai for an Exhibition at the National Exhibition and Convention Center and the Hotel was chosen by my Chinese Business Partner for convenience to his home and the NECC. The Hotel is rarely new well kept with modern features. The neighborhood is going through a transformation with new Apartment Buildings going up along with new Shopping centers....

The hotel is very new and has nice rooms with everything needed. No high standard, but therefor the price is low in relation to other Shanghai hotels. No minibar in room, but the bathroom is new and clean and the staff very thourough with cleaning. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately not very experienced in English language...

The hotel is new and clean. Very convenient location. Walking distance to Line 10 Metro, Takashimaya Department Store and Gubei Golden Street. There are also a number of good Japanese, Korean and Chinese restaurants around the area. It is always a pleasant walk around the neighbourhood since the place is quiet, tree-lined and clean. Breakfast at the hotel is okay....

Nice and neat hotel in a quiet neighborhood, very close by Line 10, Yili Road Station, and Takashimaya Department Store is also close by. There is a food court with many Japanese restaurants in a walking distance. Breakfast is additional ¥40 per person if you want to have one for the morning. It's a nice choice for the budget and...

The hotel is quite modern and nice looking. Room was clean, nice furnished and equipped. There was just horrible smell in the bathroom, so if I forgot to close the door or cleaning lady did so, the room smelled very badly. Air-conditioning is a bit loud, but it is more than welcome as the room is really hot from all...

The hotel is newly opened, with budget hotel price but at least three star facilities and above three star comfortness. Of course, you can hardly ask a Chinese budget hotel staffs to speak fluent English language, but I can ensure you don't need to communicate much but can enjoy stay there. The air-condition is powerful no matter in winter or...

Neighbourhood Profile
Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang
West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities. While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
