Beautiful rooms and great food in the dining rooms, Was there for 3 days for business and very pleased with my stay. Probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in Shanghai, The balcony in my room looking nto the courtyard was really nice
Room is average, rather old. Bathtub and shower knobs are peeling off. Carpet is worn out. Staff are generally friendly but very limited english speaking. When I went to the restaurant and bar, none of the staff could speak english. Even basic English

West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities.
While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
