Spent 2 nights there and got a garden view room as they are renovating all the rooms on the bund view. This time everything was working well including A/C and Wifi. Breakfast buffet is big and the location near the TV Tower is nice. Not overpriced for Shanghai.

Good hotel in a great location, very close to the Bund sightseeing tunnel. The room was spotless and a good size. It had a bath and separate shower which was lovely. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us a late checkout and to store our luggage until leaving for the airport.

The hotel was pleasant with a lovely view of the river - in addition, it was quiet at night. We enjoyed being located at the base of the Pearl Tower and next to the Sightseeing Tunnel. We pretended to be tourists for a day and we took the tunnel to the other side of the river and caught the Big...

The hotel is great value for money and the location is fantastic with easy access to both sides of the river. The restaurant provided a great range of foods and an extensive wine list. Rooms could do with a little revamp, but overall very comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel as my husband had a conference here. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and we were completely amazed by the breakfast. You should definitely pay for the breakfast as a part of your stay here. It is a huge buffet with all kinds of different Chinese dishes. It was some of the...

Convention centre hotels often have an anonymity about them. Large, impersonal, just shepherd the people through. This one feels like that, with Chinese characteristics. Everything in. China is on a large scale. This hotel has a very large cafe, with a large variety of breakfast selections. The rooms are large, with windows that provide magnificent view across the river, to...

Hotel is so close to the main sights and conveniently located to shopping malls and the river. Service is decent and the rooms are very clean and offer guests quiet restful sleep. Wifi is good but no proxy to access Facebook or Google

A reasonable Asian hotel. Rooms large with 8 meters to walk to bed once one gets inside the door. Oodles of marble. Good bed. Good bathroom. Good breakfast. Excellent chinese restaurant on 11 floor. The problem is the staff. If the Italian assistant manager is not on duty there is no one to assist with travel advice. China is a...

I was here on a business trip. I had a garden room so no spectacular view. The hotel is pretty average. It's looking tired, but it clean and pleasant. Staff we courteous and polite and very helpful. However, reception had no interest when I informed them of the bad room service- possibly a communication issue. Food overall was a little...

The hotel is very convenient for the convention centre if you are attending a conference. It is also near the Oriental Pearl Tower if you wish to go up the lift to the viewing area. The other pluses is that it is next to the Bund sight-seeing tunnel (which I felt was over priced - RMB 70 for a return...

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
