I stayed at this hotel with my family for a week in February, during Chinese New Year. I think the general feeling was that we all really liked the hotel, and feel that it did mainly deliver on the Four Seasons brand. It was luxurious,...More
The hotel Deluxe bedroom and bathroom is a little old as the Four Seasons is probably one of the first established 5 star in Shanghai.
But the service is truly exceptional. Bert at the Reception was extremely helpful and even managed to book me a...More
The term 5-star gets batted around a lot, but this property actually hits the mark... and then some. Living in Jiangsu for years, we’ve stayed at at least a dozen so-called luxury hotels and this Four Seasons is my new favorite. Great room, outstanding breakfast,...More

The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same
quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
