Situated in a leafy Pudong suburb, ZTE Hotel is a Chinese business hotel that has comfortable rooms with good facilities, including BBC World TV. Opening at 07:00am, the 'Western' restaurant serves a Chinese breakfast, but there are buns and cereals available. Over the course of a weekend, I found one of the two lunches had food perfectly acceptable to the... More

Check-in was smooth and efficient. Signage was less than detailed but staff had English fluency levels fit for purpose. My room was a nice size; the king-sized bed was comfortable, an my shower water pressure was just right. Breakfast buffet fare was Chinese, varied, and plentiful. A first: Live, potted plants in the window -- in my favourite colour!

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The "hotel" is next to ZTE office building. Stayed in their "premium" room. No service to bring my luggage to my building, which is around 800m and confusing to locate. As the room is close to the ZTE office, i am facing ZTE office gigantic exhaust fans. The hot air blew into... More

Good, quiet location, as the hotel shares excellent park and big lake with Research & Development center of ZTE company. Nearby there is a very big "restaurant mall" with a lot of restaurants of different type, different cuisines and price. At lobby there is english speaking staff. Breakfasts are very good with buffet of Asian and European cuisines, dishes are... More

My room had mold within the bathroom shower, stains on the wall and carpet, and they were reluctant to change sheets that felt dirty (as if the previous guest had slept in it). Needed Chinese speakers to communicate to the staff. At least the room didn't smell. Pros: Free breakfast and wifi

Recently stayed at this hotel on a business trip to Shanghai. On arrival, I checked in but found that the level of English speaking at the hotel was limited. Managed to make myself understood and all was ok. The rooms are distributed around what is like a campus so it was quite a walk to the room. However the room... More

I'm a bit surprised to see the negative feedback a few of the guests have posted here. I've stayed in this hotel a few times when we had a stand on SIAL. English is a bit of a problem at times (but that's the case everywhere in China). Breakfast buffet is good and when there are a larger number of... More

Not a great experience as had several "disagreements" with the management about the limo pickup at the airport and return as I requested that it be added to my room bill but they wanted cash. They also take a sizeable deposit when you check in and as soon as you are over (even 20RMB) the receptionist will start chasing you... More
