The hotel was once quite elegant but is now a little tired and worn around the edges, eg: some of the marble tiles in the lobby were broken around the edges but everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was large with automatic opening curtains (more of a novelty than a necessity), armchair, desk and a huge stain on the carpet....

The guest rooms are big, clean and inviting. As you enter your room, place your room key in the master control slot and the window blinds open automatically. The bathroom is large and modern but runs light on bath towels with only 2 per room. Most top hotels sport 4 big bath towels. The Wyndham may have rated higher if...

The room was large and roomy with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was big and a little different to the usual with opaque glass doors for the toilet and shower. Handy location with interesting views across the older houses and apartments with the city skyline in the distance and walking distance to shops and a shopping centre.

We stayed here for 3 nights.. The hotel is far away from anything, and it was always a taxi to get anywhere. We had a full day tour organised, and even our tour guide commented on how far we were from anything. Our room on the 32nd floor was very comfortable, spacious and clean. However, the refrigerator was not chilled,...

We had a king and single beds. The room space was like an apartment without a kitchen!! Shower had some mould but once again seems to be due to the plumbing in China. Attention to detail is required ie there was a tv in the bathroom but no remote to turn it on. Despite requesting one from reception it never...

Spent two nights here as part of a 16 day China tour. Nice place... rooms were warm as air conditioning was not turned on. Staff was very courteous and friendly... would consider staying there again if we returned to Shanghai.

We were part of an organized tour group from Canada and all our hotels were 5 star properties. I'm not certain how close we were to downtown, but it seemed quite central when we were touring the city. Lovely beds & linens and very modern.

We travelled with a group of 50 and stayed at this property for 2 nights on May 12 and 13, 2015. Our room keys were ready when we arrived and the tour leader provided us with our keys and our luggage was taken by the hotel staff to our rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and the location of the...

Nice hotel in a fairly good location. A bit of traffic a canal noise but not to bad. Very large rooms (we had corner room) with ample seating area, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Room has tea & coffee making facility but they do not have cups! Could not get them to provide us any despite calling. Breakfast was average...
