A recent reviewer of this site but I had to put in a review of our trip to Mana Island last year end of Oct 2011. We had a wonderful holiday. A busy family of Mum, Dad and two small children. All we required of our holiday was a break in the sun with a lovely beach and swimming/snorkeling. Mana... More

I recently spent a week at Mana Island Resort for a friends wedding. It was a magical experience and the resort and staff were just wonderful. I would like however to talk about the Mana Island School (just behind the backpackers), If you are English speaking and heading to the beautiful Mana Island on holiday consider spending a couple of... We recently (August 2012) went to Mana Island Resort to celebrate our wedding along with 40 friends and family. We had a fantastic time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this destination to families looking for a budget friendly holiday. As a family we had plenty to do, while we enjoyed socialising and catching up with friends over a few... More

My husband and I stayed there for 5 nights recently with our 2 children (aged 5 & 6). The beaches at Mana are absolutely stunning and probably the best we have ever seen. The snorkelling is fantastic right off the North beach and we saw some very unique fish and even a sea snake. Please be warned that the resort... More

We had a fab time at mana. Yes it's old an a wee bit neglected around the pool area but that doesn't matter if you prefer the beach as we do. Our family snorkelled a lot and the beach on the north side was a typical Fijian beach you see on the tv. The food was way better than some... More

I stayed here for the minimum 2 nights for a wedding. A very family orientated resort - large and lots of things and places for the kids to do. The beaches were divine, and the staff were fantastic. A bit glitchy at reception with a breakdown in communication in the office. The food was fabulous but watch out for unattended... More

We took our daughter,son-in-law and two grandchildren this time and they will also be returnees after having the best holiday ever. WARNING! Mana was once a lovely peaceful paradise at around 50% occupancy outside the school holidays but times have changed. There are now noisy little primary and pre-school kids running all around the resort like ants at a picnic and it is fully booked throughout the entire winter season. There were a hand full couples on the island and every... More
