Of the 3 resorts on this island, I'd rate this one better than Plantation, but not as nice as Lomani. If you're travelling as a couple, this place has a lot of families around, so it won't be a quiet, romantic getaway. Our friends stayed in a beachfront bure, which was fairly spacious, but was a bit dark and damp...

Bula thanks for your feedback, I think We are not a family focused resort, but during school holidays there will be more children than usual. Apologies. And being a larger island with two other resorts, guests from these resorts do visit for meals. Which we do manage numbers. Sorry, but I wouldn't have thought F$75 Fijian or A$48 for a...

We picked this hotel as it was a short hop from Nadi and the first stop on our Honeymoon. It was a quick boat ride (which we organised through the hotel) and we had a nice arrival when we got to the dock. Our bags were taken to our room and we were shown around. The room was lovely (and...

We ended up staying at this resort for longer than planned and stayed in both the garden bure and the villas, both were lovely. The resort staff are extremely friendly and the free activities are great. There were two good food choices and you could easily walk to the other two resorts if you wanted a change. Although the tide...

Greetings from another magic day on island. Just wanted to thank you for your kind comments. Our team will be thrilled when they hear how much you enjoyed your stay. We support our local village by allowing them to operate surf trips (provided they are licensed and follow marine safety and operational guidelines) I will talk with them about improving...

While spending almost 2 weeks in Paradise (AKA Fiji) I was lucky enough to spend 7 nights with friends at Malolo Lailai Musket Cove. This resort is great for those wanting to self-cater (we brought in most of our groceries) however you can buy (VERY expensive) groceries from their local shop and has good range of anything you've forgotten, as...

Please note - This guest was not a guest at Musket Cove Island Resort and Marina. They were staying at a neighbouring resort. Which has NO affiliation to Musket Cove. If you expect Coles or Woolworth prices at a small supermarket in the middle of the Pacific. Your mistaken. FYI, by Fiji law a large majority of goods are price...

We spent 6 nights at Musket Cove, along with a group of 10 other family members. The first 4 nights we stayed in an Island Villa, which was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and fridge. Each of the two rooms had their own ensuite bathroom. The Island Villas are a bit further away from the beach and restaurant, but...

Bula Greetings from another magic day in paradise. Thanks for your feedback, always great to hear guests enjoyed their stay. For the sake of potential guests reading these reviews I'd like to respond to some of your comments. Bula Sorry, but I totally disagree with your review. Your inference that we are ripping guests off is totally wrong. Because it's Fiji doesn't mean you can have a Lobster dinner for $10. Yes, at Nadi markets you can purchase unrefrigerated and poor quality local produce. You can even buy cheap copy, often stale snacks and biscuits. But at Musket...

if you ever, ever want to chill out and relax on a tropical island paradise, this place is wicked. We went as part of a wedding party and stayed for a week. What an awesome experience, this place is one of my faves. Kava, Fiji bitter, good wine and food with a beautiful bungalow by the sea

I stayed at Musket Cove last week for 4 nights with my two teenage sons . We wished we could have stayed longer. The resort is wonderful. The excellent Malolo Cat catamaran trip from Port Denerau was about 50 mins and we were welcomed by a gorgeous band of singers/guitars/ukuleles at Reception. From the first moment we felt comfortable and...

Musket Cove is not a place you visit...it's a big fluffy warm jumper that wraps around your body. Make no mistake, this is not a five star, soy decafe late, waiting on you hand and foot hotel....don't go if that's what you want. This is like ascending to heaven where all of your old friends are waiting, where warm air...

I have just spend 8 nights at Musket Cove celebrating my 50th with 6 other couples. The island was fantastic, our garden bure was great, clean a fantastic outdoor shower and if you want a beach view just get a front Garden Bure without paying for a beach bure. A few couples shared a two bedroom over the water bure...
