We have been rewards members for many years, and our stay at this Fairfield inn was one of our best. Belinda at the desk was friendly and very helpful in giving area dining recommendations. She was genuinely kind and welcoming. She gave us an upgrade to a suite and explained a feature about our gold elite membership no one ever had. Free enhanced WiFi! Everyone we encountered there was friendly and each desk clerk acknowledged and thanked us for being loyal gold members. It is nice to feel welcome and appreciated. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh. Staff there was friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted. Highly recommend! And it's very close to the beach too. They even provide golf cart transportation to the beach and back if desired. We drove to a nearby public Access though.
To all the staff, thank you for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Hello beamstar, Thank you so much for taking the time to review our property. We appreciate you giving us a perfect score. Our staff works hard to ensure our guests have a wonderful time during their visit to Orange Beach. I will share your review with our staff during our morning meetings. We hope to have you as a guest again soon. Sincerely, Catherine McLaughlin
We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed to be close enough to the beach without paying beachfront prices. The rooms are quite small but it was okay. We walked to the beach a couple times but also took the shuttle a couple times. You have to walk on the road for a block to get to the beach access. There is no sidewalk. And you have to cross traffic. There is a crosswalk. Then there's a gate that they give you the code to enter and a little boardwalk that goes to the beach. It has a shower to wash off before you leave and a phone to the hotel that you can ask them to come pick you up. You still have to cross traffic to get to the spot they drop you off and pick you up. We never got up in time to try the breakfast. We did use the pool outside. It was okay. We had fun looking behind the property for alligators or turtles. The ice cream place right across the street from the hotel was awesome. :)
Felt very welcome by the friendly staff, got good advice about restaurants and locations. Breakfast was very good. Just had to pass a parking lot and cross the street (traffic lights) to get to the beach. Definitely a good recommendation for orange Beach.
Free Breakfast buffet. Hospitality was A 1. Beach was right across the street. Got a ride once and literally went 15 yards. Decided to walk from then on. There is a gate across the street in between to hotels labeled Marriott that gives you code access to the beach.
The People working at the Marriott were very polite. Always asking if we needed anything.
The Alligator and turtles in the back was a good look for the children.
The waves at the beach were incredible. Made me buy a boogie board. At least ten foot high.
Stayed for a week after being evacuated from Destin due to tropical storm Michael. The front desk employees were so accommodating. Lots of people ended up staying here as well, from Panama City and other close areas. The hotel was at full capacity. The employees at the front desk were always friendly and helpful. The employees working the breakfast station worked their butts off keeping everything fully stocked. The hotel had to open the conference room so everyone had enough space to eat. They don’t normally allow pets but due to the evacuation they allowed it. Rooms were well cleaned, always had towels and the interior and exterior were always well kept. For the employees that were so busy with evacuation guests, kudos for making our stay wonderful! Great job!!
