My wife and I stayed here on our way home from our honeymoon. The hotel itself is a beautiful, old building located near the city's French district. The staff is very helpful and warm. In the main foyer/sitting area there is a collection of vinyl records and a turntable for guests to put on the music they want to hear.... More

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 11 October 2016

When I first saw the picture of the red brick courtyard at the Malaga Inn, with white lights strung through tall magnolias in each corner and a huge, four-tiered fountain splashing at its center, all beneath a star-filled coastal sky, I knew I just had to stay there. My chance came this past weekend, when we headed down to the... More

Stayed in king historic with balcony which is one of the rooms located in town home. Features a small entry foyer, bedroom, small dressing room with closet, and bathroom. The mouldings baseboards doorcasings and floors are all gorgeous and make the room feel luxurious. The bed is unbelievably comfortable with modern clean white linens and lots of exceptional pillows. Everything about the Malaga Inn is wonderful. Beautiful, quaint, historic building - from both the outside and the inside. Lovely courtyard inside. The entrance is very cool, a big old wooden door and once you enter you have a little sitting area with an old turntable (on which I saw a guy playing old vinyl records one night). The rooms... I loved this old hotel. It is old, with a thousand coats of paint. The courtyard is nice. The front desk clerk, Lisa was wonderful. This hotel was very clean. I appreciated the 'oldness' of this place. Others who prefer new and shiny might not find this to their liking. It was priced reasonably and was within walking distance to... More

A trip to Mobile is not complete without a stay here. Pure ambiance of Southern charm. Relax and enjoy the beautiful courtyard. Easy walk to downtown sites and restaurant. Family owned, small boutique hotel. Breakfast was good. Bordered on a B&B because of hands on staff. Was a wonderful experience.

We stopped here for the night as we were making our way back across the states. I had read that it is a historic bnb and is said to be haunted. Being that I love a good ghostly challenge, I booked a room. When we first arrived , the girl at the desk was a doll. Very sweet and helpful.... More

It was a pleasure to stay in this old building. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and the internal courtyard with fountain and lights was a delight to sit in. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the building and local facilities.Hotel only 2 blocks from dauphin Street.

This place is a nice departure from the standard Hotel. It has a lot of character an old southern charm, but with upgraded bathrooms. The breakfast was pretty standard but appreciated nonetheless. The location for downtown activities is ideal. I would definitely come back.
