This is a cosy, very well-run guest house operated by a couple, not one of those huge impersonal hotels for large tour groups. It is located on Lorong Hang Jebat, near Jalan Tokong where the oldest temple the Cheng Hoon Teng temple in Malaysia is situated. It is also within walking distance to many of the attractions in the heritage...

Never regretted choosing this place for my short stay in Malacca. This guesthouse is perfectly located such that travelling to most of the historical sites, eating places and shopping areas is easy and hustle-free! I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely ambience and homely feeling I got when I entered the guesthouse. The lady host was very approachable, friendly and always smiled....

It's a lovely budget hotel / home stay located at the heart of the tourist area of Malacca. It's clean and comfortable although I found the mattress rather lumpy. All rooms are up flights of stairs so if you have trouble with stairs this place isn't for you. Parking is by the street and it's purely up to your luck....

This hotel couldn't be more central - right at the river and in walking distance to all other historical sites. The rooms are spacious and the quality of furniture/decoration is good and appealing. They don't serve breakfast but there are multiple choices in walking distance.

She even gave free drinks whenever we wanted. The room was very clean and very nice with old design, bathroom was too big and we...

This little guest house of 9 rooms is situated right slap bang in the center of the touring area alongside the canal. Room 6 (where my wife & I stayed) is the upper story room overlooking the canal with a lovely balcony. The owner can't be more helpful. The guesthouse is really cosy with fine old furniture and decor. Breakfast...

I was recommended this guest house. Apparently if you take one of the suites they have balcony doors leading onto the river. I was in a room as the suites were booked. The rooms was spacious, had a comfortable bed with good air con. As soon as you walked into the bathroom area the heat hits you as there isn't...

If you're after a small, locally run place to stay in this wonderful city you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere better. It is a guest house, so bare that in mind. It doesn't have a restaurant, but there's many very close by with the main street about 200 metres away. The owners are very friendly, even gave us some...
