The General Manager and Nick were very welcoming, staff were attentive. Lovely room on the 9th floor, view would have been good save for the large buildings and building site in front but that's not their fault! Room very comfortable with bathroom partitioned off by louvre doors. Fruit and evening treats in the room, biscuits and sweets in the lobby....

Elegance is the best word that would describe this place. Nice room by the way, spacious and comfy. Very attentive hotel staff with pleasing personality, always ready to lend a hand. The food is delicious and there are lots of list in the menu that you can select. Great hotel in Malaysia, highly recommended. Thanks to the hotel manager for...

The Majestic is a lovely hotel situated very conveniently in Malacca. Our room was great - comfy bed, excellent bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was where they seem to have run out of some vital ingredients - for cocktails, some items from the breakfast menu.

Loved the whole experience of staying in this colonial hotel. The staff were all friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. It was lovely to be greeted so warmly by the staff every time we returned to the hotel. The spacious and elegant rooms were serviced twice daily, and the bath products were very luxurious. We had breakfast daily in...

Was recently staying at the Majestic hotel in Malacca. It was definitely a good decision to stay at the hotel as it is conveniently located and easily accessible to many places such as Jonker street. The room was well kept and nicely decorated. We like the most is the Spa in the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel also serve...

Lovely Picturesque Boutique Hotel, with great attentive service. Comfortably fit two adults plus 3 kids under 6yrs in one room. Perfect for two nights. Very spacious. A good 15min walk to Jonker Street and bustling areas, restaurants etc. Not necessarily ideal with young children on the busy roads, however it is do-able. Hotel breakfast is average.

Originally a Chinese merchants Mansion built, I think, in the 1920's.Great location smack bang in the centre of the old town. It is a truly Grand but boutique sized Hotel. Everything is perfect. There's a small Bar by the reception, a separate Library room for afternoon Tea and an extensive (max 20 Tables) Upstairs Dining Room for Dinner and Breakfast....

Staying at the Majestic is like a trip back in time. The historic building is updated but retains its classic elegance. You are greeted by a door man and treated to a welcome tea. Elaborate fresh flower arrangements scent the air. Breakfast and dinner are served by attentive staff in the beautiful dining room. Relax at the spa or on...

Chose this hotel because I'm really over generic, boxy hotels with no character so for this the Majestic ticks all the boxes. It's simply charming. Tastefully and thoughtfully restored throughout with well trained attentive staff who do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. Some great touches - you are shown to your room by a lovely hostess with...
