As described in many reviews, the location and decor are nice-ish (but this does not make up for other shortfalls). But that's about it. If you like some service and creature comforts, visit any small / amateur museum and stay elsewhere... Our two rooms had no curtains; this is clearly an issue that has been raised before, as handymen came...

We stay 1 night at Puri, but service staff at the front office did not welcome us and not smiling at the time. While we check into the rooms. The room is smelly and alo dust. I keep sneezing and I wanted to change room but the staff said they are full house today. I saw some guest walk in...

The hotel itself is really nice with pretty back gardens and with a history explained in one of the common room which I found interesting. Our room was ok, AC was a bit noisy but we were so tired that we slept fine, the toilet had a problem with the flush so you had to move the cover and push...

Good location, nice and friendly staff, great atmosphere. At least in all public parts of the hotel. Our room however was 'just another room': dark and only the necessary things: bed, bathroom, fridge and most important: a working airco. Enough, though. My tip to the management: pimp up the rooms a little bit with some colours and/or decorations. It makes...

What a delight for all of us - staying in a heritage Peranakan home surrounded by Peranakan furniture, ornaments & a History room...........& observing swallows making their nests in a separate room. The rooms were modern, air conditioned, with free WIFI & slippers. Breakfast was very good with local kueh, curry noodles, curry puffs, teh tarik, fishball noodles & western...

We stayed in Hotel Puri for 2 nights in a junior suite which is a 2 story room. The room is very cute with a bathroom and lounge downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. The room was mainly clean, we found a hair on the bed which was abit of a let down. The breakfast at hotel puri is pretty basic,...

Stayed at Puri Hotel with 2 girlfriends last week. Reception had the most atrocious service I encountered for the longest time. Room was not ready when we arrived (1pm). When we returned again at 3pm, the official check-in time, the lady at reception was visibly irritated and told us to head up to the room ourselves and check if it's...

Stayed here for a night on a business trip but wished had more time to spend. Charming hotel at great location being adjacent to Jonker Street without the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by antique stores extremely tempting to those interested as I am. Checked in late last night but felt welcome almost immediately. We were ushered quietly to park our...

This hotel is in a sympathetically renovated 'Baba' mansion in the middle of the old Chinatown and walking distance to all historical places of interest. Our room was smallish and the bathroom even smaller, so no 5 stars. The whole place exudes a serene atmosphere and one should really take the time to simply sit in the beautiful courtyard, or...
