Hands down, this was the best customer service I have ever received traveling! The owners make it a community environment - they're knowledgeable and courteous. Expect these guys to learn your name on day one and treat you like family by day two. For value, it's the cheapest place in Melaka and breakfast is included with free tea and coffee...

This is a great little guest house. Decently located between Chinatown and Melaka Raya this hostel is super clean with amazing staff. Also, the free wifi was reliable and fast which is a rare combination in guest houses. Recommended all around!

We originally planned to stay here for four days, but ended up staying for six. It is a lovely place, with good rooms a great common room on the top floor and fantastic staff. The location isn't in Chinatown but it is only a 10 minute walk away and 3 huge malls are nearby in the opposite direction. Breakfast (unlimited...

I'd been in Kuala Lumpur a couple of days before Melaka, and I was terrified over what was expecting me in Melaka. Turned out, the place was real nice. The AC worked so well I had to rent a blankie. The shopkeeper on duty when we got there reminded me of Paul SR. in Orange county choppers. But he was...

Very clean hostel, and friendly staff. Very new hostel! Great location, but we personally would have preferred to have been closer to Jonker Street (Chinatown), so it depends what you like! Also included a simple breakfast of toast, butter and jam, which is always great! Beds were comfy, air con was good, the only let down was the shower on our...

I've been traveling through India, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia and Backpacker's Freak Hostel is hands down the best (and the cheapest!). The rooms and common space are kept immaculate. The dorms have nice cool aircon (not too cold, just right) and a light breakfast (toast and tea/coffee) is served for free in the morning. Free wifi throughout entire hostel too!...

We stayed in Melaka as well in KL. Anderson was very helpful with explaining us about the places to visit in malaysia. Everything was fine and the price was very good. Only thing is that the airconditioning in the dorms in KL where set to ridiculously cold temperatures. Recommended!!!

"Where Budget & Comfy Comes Together", They say this and you will found exactly this. Friendly, nice, clean and peaceful. Free coffee and tea and also water. I would like to say that the best side is this hostel is that all staff give me information about where I was going. Singapore, Sarawak, Sabah, I think they are better than...

We stayed here a couple of nights for our first stop in malaysia. The were four of us (two couples) and we were put in rooms close to each other on the same floor which was good. On the first night the owner Anderson put on a huge meal for free for everyone in the hostel! we sat around afterwards...
