Ringo's Foyer is a cool hostel. Howard, the owner, is very nice and easygoing. But what really makes the place is Amélie, the girl who works at the reception. She is wonderful, full of sunshine. She took us out for dinner every night and we went on a little bike ride with her. Even going out to find ice cream...

Howard - the owner - is really friendly and takes good care of the guests. He got every helpful information for you about Melaka, tried to connect people and made them friends. The most sociable and friendly hostel I've ever been to. Maybe due to the owner, everyone seemed to be more open to each other. Bikes are also available...

It's my first time staying in a hostel alone and it was a memorable stay at Ringo's, Felt very rustic and down to earth with great hosts like Howard and Amelie, who are friendly and always ready to give useful information about Malacca Once I checked in, Howard handed me some clean bed sheets and blanket for me. which is...

Howard is really friendly and the guests there too. It is also easy to find the place, we just take any bus that goes to ocean mall and then just abt 7 mnts walking to reach there. Had a really good sleep after a tiring day walking :) we really enjoyed our trip! The yogurt ice cream is a must-have...

This place has everything convenience what backpackers need for a stay; comfy sofas in every floors, good connection wi-fi, breakfast, bed, and...A ROOFTOP. For a hot weather in Malacca, the rooftop is an excellent space to chill out and gather and for some wind blows. Soon they will have yoga class there too and Howard once in a while arranges...

Howard, who runs this hostel, makes you feel right at home when you arrive. He tries to organise a daily trip to the restaurant with all of the guests of the hostel. The breakfast is quite minimal and the quality of the bunks average (holes in the sheets for ex.), but it is made up by the many new faces...

If you are after a well priced, comfortable and welcoming hostel in Melaka then this is the one. Ringo's has good security with entry only for those with a key and you will have buzz to get in on arrival. There is a free breakfast of toast and jam, not an amazing choice but sets you up nicely for the...
