We recently stayed here at Dwarka and it was a tranquil slice of paradise. The room had a spectacular view of the ocean, and being able to see it whilst in the shower was a bonus. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff asked us on a daily basis if we wanted it cleaning. Going to sleep at night listening to the waves was very relaxing. The position of the resort on Cola beach was idyllic. The trip down the long bumpy track to reach the hotel is interesting especially in a rickshaw and there are lots of steps to climb down once you arrive (the staff do come and carry your bags so don’t worry about that). The resort has their own sun beds on the beach and if anyone not staying at the hotel used them the staff would move them along, so one was always available. The sea

We stayed 15-19 Feb as part of a group of friends & family attending a beach wedding. Had a lovely, beach front room on the lower level so just a few steps down to the bar and beach, falling asleep to sound of the waves - magical. All staff were helpful & kind, with lovely chats with Sagar & Punar in particular. Bedrooms/bathrooms are as pictured and big ceiling fan provided respite from the heat. Electricity & wi-fi was in good supply (if you want to stay in touch with outside world) however this is clearly designed as a ‘ get away from it all’ relaxing place to switch off, in fairly remote location; down a bumpy track off the main road. Beach was clean with swimming available in sea or adjoining lagoon. Kites and what we think may have been bald eagles were a regular wildlife

We really enjoyed our night at Dwarka. The food was very good, but I’m surprised to see so many reviews saying the food is amazing. Lovely beach, just how the Calangute/Candolim beaches were 10+ years ago. No rubbish, no plastic or bottle caps in the sand. The room was nice, comfortable and gave great views of the sea. The rooms are not made from bricks, so you do have insect visitors at night. If you’re sensitive to insects (we had a huge cricket and giant ants) this isn’t the place for you. However, we did not suffer too badly from mosquito bites. I’m not sure if I would return, as it was top end price (£150 ish per room) and I was expecting a little more luxury.

Ended up staying for a week as we liked it so much. Beautiful comfortable 'huts' overlooking the sea with every convenience and large balconies. Fresh and delicious food. The beach itself is clean. Don't come for the nightlife, although Sagar's margeritas are brilliant, but for peace and tranquility, rolling waves with a palm-fringed beach and warm and friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful.

We stayed as a couple here for 7 nights following a week in the hustle & bustle of North Goa and expecting a week of tranquil relaxation as a contrast. We weren’t disappointed. As the taxi pulled up at the end of the bumpy 1 mile dirt road where the cove came into view and the staff carried our cases down the 110 sandy steps to our hut, we knew this was going to be something special. It turned out to exceed even these high expectations. Where to start ? The location is idyllic ! There are three resort properties here, nestling around the mouth of a creek, with Dwarka occupying the southern beachside spot, Blue Lagoon opposite on the north side and Krishna Paradise in between straddling the creek. Dwarka is the only one whose bar/restaurant is for residents only and that
