This is just perfect. It's the getaway we all yearn for. Truly a paradise and probably the cleanest beach and waters in the area. The tents are great and cosy and very clean. They have running water and plumbing, a toilet and a shower. If you go on an experience you get to try some lovely fish and local curries provided by the trip provider. In the evening there is entertainment by a local indian dance group who dance with fire and sticks. There's a volley ball net too where I played against the barman and some others. The drinks are very well priced! Gin and tonic cost me only 110 rupees (about £1.20). Overall, one of the best places I have ever been to in my life.
I am currently staying here and could not be happier. It's a very relaxed place with a sweet small beach ( a little rocky perhaps but one gets used to navigating!) The food here is fresh and delicious and the service provided by Vikson and Naz is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is included and plentiful, eggs, fruit, cereal, coffee. The tents are simple with comfortable beds and a cold shower. Hot water is provided upon request. I would definitely recommend Cola beach for a simple quiet holiday.
The area itself is beautiful, nice beach, water and backdrop. Tents were basic but lovely, although could do with table or something to put suitcases on so they are out the way. Housekeeping offered and towels changed if required daily. Nice helpful staff. Lovely view from tents and comfy sunbeds to relax on. Could also do with tea making facilities in the room. No hot water - annoying for the price paid A lot of glass on the beach, I was always picking up glass - a group effort from cola beach resorts needed to keep it cleaner. Food was good but feel it was expensive relative to the quality compared to other restaurants we have eaten in No WIFI or signal - fine if you are expecting this and looking for a peaceful few days but we had not expected this and after travelling for 2+ months it is good to have contact with home and necessary to have access to banking/internet for organising next parts of our trip. Did get password for next door but it did not work.…
This trip for me was meant to be for many reasons.. no words or pictures could capture or convey the beauty of this place... Me and my husband came here with our friends- another couple , so four in all... Fell in love with the place as soon as we saw it - towards the end of the Rocky and uneven path we took to reach there.. Perfect place to spend time with ourselves... For me - it helped me find my love for art and photography... Mr Vickson - the manager was very understanding and helpful... The food was so basic yet quite delicious!! The place itself is so calm and clean... The clear skies , the Rocky beach..the fishing boats... The unending sound of waves crashing on the shore... Somehow gives us a glimpse of the vastness beyond us.. makes us understand how we are nothing but a tiny speck of it.. yet sometimes makes us disintegrate into this void like we are everything!! Was hard to part ... Came back with a promise to visit it at least another time😊…
I've never lived in a 'tent' before. It's a liberating experience. This is such a quiet private property that you need not lock your doors, or close your windows. Actually there are no doors, it's a tent! It's quiet, the food is great, the staff are wonderful. Vickson has been there for 15 years so you know he does an amazing job. I chose this property because it's my first time in India, I started with Delhi, then Agra-the Taj Mahal, and prior to that I'd been in the US and France. I needed a laid-back time and it doesn't really get better than this. i would suggest that you need to bring your own fun with you. This is quiet, out of the way, great for a single like me. The staff always smile and are attentive to anything you need--they've got it figured out before you ask! Thanks everyone for a great time. I'll be back!…
