Family holiday from UK to Goa and opted to stay in Calangute, after looking at various options and considering location/budget opted to book Ibis Styles. Absolutely amazing experience and happy with the decision.
We were a family of 4 which included 2 children aged 16 & 13 stayed in rooms 103 & 104. The children had mixed feelings however both agreed that they had a wonderful stay, only suggestion from 16yr old was foosball and/or pool table to be added in games room.
Staff - all members of staff were professional and went over and beyond to help especially Dinki who is currently undergoing her internship with Ibis.
Breakfast was buffet and contained a good spread as well as ample always very tasty.
Lunch/Dinner whilst you have option to purchase buffet service for the times we are at the hotel we always just ordered from the menu as prices were reasonable and to be honest the food tasted much better than some of the restaurants located around the hotel.
Location - not too far from the main Calangute Beach, perhaps a 15min walk via the main roads. The beach near the hotel is around 7mins and one can also stroll up to Calangute Beach from there, don’t save much time but a more scenic route. There are plenty of shops within a 5min walk from the hotel ranging from small general stores to beauty salons.
Housekeeping always done daily
Rooms - all rooms face the pool & as most have said rooms were small but they were more than adequate for 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Had no issues with air con or anything else for that matter.
Gym - my son often visited and said that this was good, if anything could do with increased weights.
Games room - again children visited often and they suggested if the hotel had included Foosball and/or Pool Table this would have enhanced their experience (perhaps something management could consider)
Swimming Pools - there were 3 pools (one kids pool) we had no issues with sun beds, whilst they have 2 pools that can be used by adults neither are deep around 4.5ft max. Whilst we were there never had any issues with over crowding etc and found the the staff by pool will request all guests adhere to policies (great to see them enforcing this)
As we went during monsoon season and around a time when there were 2 national holidays we found most of the other guests were from around India, with very few from abroad. This never bothered us as those that we encountered were lovely people, some even included my son whilst playing table tennis.
Overall enjoyed our stay and should we visit Goa again would have no hesitations staying at Ibis Styles, thank you all at Ibis for making our stay wonderful.

I spent a week with my family at Ibis styles Calangute. The hotel was well maintained and the rooms were comfortable. The hotel staff and all guests had to use masks in common areas and sanitizers were provided throughout the hotel. The pool and other facilities were off limits; but the restaurant was open and the food was tasty and social distancing was maintained. The restaurant staff of Yai, Vijay, Anil and team was courteous and prompt. I had clarified that good WiFi in the rooms was essential for work as well as for my kids to attend class. However the WiFi didn't work on the first day and I had to resort to phone hot spots. However, the WiFi was fixed and subsequently worked well. Azith, Ashu and other reception staff were friendly and helpful. There wasn't much to do in Goa because of the situation. But all things considered, this trip provided a safe and overdue change of scenery.

We would like o thank Apoorva (Duty Manager) for contact less check- In, we were handed over a welcome kit with enough sanitizers and mask, the Food which was prepared by Chef Deep was lip smacking and they (Anil, Chef Deep, Yaii,Executive Chef Mandeep) took very good care to have a fine dining experience. Shubojit and HK supervisor ensured our room was properly sanitized and made a good towel art which was a surprise for us. I had booked 3 rooms for my family at ibis. We reached the hotel at 2:30 pm but got one room only at 5:30 pm. Staff kept saying that they will take 10 mins more but they took 3 hours too 3 hours to give room keys though they had charged us for full day. The luggage came to our rooms very late and we kept following hourly to send it our rooms. Washroom Drainage of two rooms was completely blocked and it didn’t get resolved during our entire stay. There were issues with housekeeping too.
Last day experience was terrible. Some families had booked 5-6 rooms in hotel and there was a pool party organised for them. There was deafening music and screaming for those two hours in late afternoon. We couldn’t take a nap even for 10 mins. Hotel staff was not even considerate to tell those guys to stop screaming like hooligans and not disturb other guests. It was clearly a mistake to book stay in this hotel and would recommend, pls don’t book in this hotel if you don’t want to get your trip ruined.

I loved the design of the hotel, with 2 pools, guest parking and ample amenities for children to play on-site. Hotel is away from beach and so the complimentary vehicle is a good idea. The beach itself is quiet and clean. Maybe the hotel can have picnic basket offer so that for a meal I do not have to depend on the local shack option. On the negative side I felt the room upkeep could be improved - balcony door scraping the floor, confusing light switches, restricted menu for all day and a location that is awkward to locate. That's all for now.

This was the second time that we were staying at this hotel because the first stay was nice which we had done 2 years back,
We don’t know whether the hotel management is changed due to that the experience was bad this time as below,
1) Taxi booked by us did not pick us up at the Airport, we landed and spent 30 mins looking for the driver, no one called us and we were not given the Driver number and name, there was no placard with our names at Goa Airport. Finally we took a Prepaid Taxi and reached the hotel.
2) Twice during our stay we left the hotel room for sightseeing at 10:00 to 11:00 am and informed the reception and had tagged our room to be cleaned but had not been done by the time we came back in the evening. The Hotel said that they were having shortage of staff this time.
3) The Leftover Plates and trays were not picked up from outside the room for almost 24 hours.
4) Peak time hotel breakfast was not well managed with all love counters were totally jam packed and the F&B managers did not have a system of sending the orders of live counters to the tables even though the tables had numbers. We were told to come early to have breakfast if we
The Positives were that the Pools were well kept, hotel was clean and nice in the surrounding, Staff was receptive and warm.
But altogether the hotel is a good property if they work out their services well they can be a go to property in north Goa.

a) Reception Team: Resham, Valushka, Azith I was very much surprise, where on arrival Ms. Resham herself walked with us to show the Room & brief about everything for 10-15 minutes. Entire Team was very cooperative & supportive all the time. b) Swimming Pool Attendant: Mr. Rakesh I stayed for 6 days & 5 nights, all day Mr. Rakesh was always available near swimming pool all the time & helping us. He was also taking care of small kids & was looking after them, it give us the sense of security, trust & care. Normally I have never seen any attendant who is present/available all the time. c) Food : Food quality was excellent, where every day almost 20-25 types of varieties were available & people of every age (5 years to 70 years) can enjoy the food. The Best & Unique this I have observed is, your table is cleaned as soon as you have finished eating & they picked the tissue papers/ empty glasses & plates immediately. You don’t have to wait & call them for cleaning the Table. They does the cleaning 4-5 times even though are sitting on table.
d) Cleanliness: No words to describe how the cleanliness & hygiene was maintained all time. Every day Room, passages, Floors, Staircase, Garden, Swimming pool, every corner of Hotel was found cleaned.
e) Security : Normally in all hotels I have found Security team only at Gate / Entry point. In IBIS I have found something Unique, where Security team was available 24 x 7 in every wing (Building), they used to greet every customer by folding their both hands & say Namaste every time if any person is going out or coming inside the Hotel wing even at Late night 3:00 AM. Also Security team was available 24 x 7 to assist us for parking the Vehicles, there all time presence gives us the assurance of safety of our Vehicles parked.
Entire Staff was polite, Humble & Cooperative...
Never seen such type of Service & Hospitality @ Single Place.

We stayed at the hotel from the 24th to 28th of December. All I can say it was just a disappointing experience. The rooms were not clean and the housekeeping did not bother to clean the same after repeated reminders. The water was never refilled without reminders. The breakfast area was another mess, we really struggled to get a seat even after waiting for 30 mins. The hotel was surely understaffed and they did not have the capacity of handling full occupancy. But yes , staff was polite and courteous most of the times. The checkout was again a disaster. We waited in the room for 45 minutes for luggage assistance and since the rooms were way away from the lobby area, there was not much we could do. The WiFi was a disaster too. Never got connected. The only relief was the hotel was close to the beach (5 min walk) and close to the shopping district. It was surely not value for money as I think I paid way higher for the experience I had. Overall disappointing experience.

Me and 3 of my friends planned a trip to Goa and chose Ibis styles as our hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by Ms Resham who checked us in very quickly and gave us our rooms as well.
We booked 2 rooms (both similar) and both of them were very clean and spacious, with a good view, bathrooms were well stocked with soaps , toothbrushes and all the essentials. Room service was very quick and efficient and the room cleaning was done perfectly, none of our belongings were even moved.
Mr Narayan (poolside) helped us in arranging transport facilities to tour goa and made our travelling much more convenient.
All of the hotel staff was very helpful and Friendly.
The only part which me and my friends thought could be improved was if there were more non veg options in the breakfast buffet besides the live egg and sausage on the side counter.
Special thanks to Ms Resham for helping us plan places to tour in goa and also for providing more non veg options for breakfast.
Would surely stay in Ibis the next time I visit goa

My 1st visit to this hotel was shocking coz the staff and the house keeping, kept distance and everything was safe. They had sanitizers, personal attention to all the customers that required. Amazing food, ambience, staff, hygienic everything was up the mark Especially I want to thank Yaii,Bhumila and lokesh ,Mahendra for the amazing service that they gave me and others. Yaii and Bhumilla ,Mahender are staffs that go out of Their way to make the customer feel comfortable special and like home. Just because of them I will suggest my family and friends to come n book their stay here. I will definitely come back here If possible please give them a hike or give them a better incentive so that they feel the same. Coz of them the hotels reputation is decided

Tivai beach is 5 minutes from the hotel and calangute beach is approximately 10 minutes away (by foot) and the hotel provides shuttle for tivai beach only.
There are more places to choose from in the Calangute area.
