i read few reviews about this hotel before i booked this one. reviews are extreme and wonder how can that be. If you are looking for a budget accommodation that this is one of them. Although their are numerous hotels around it. Now when i say budget that means you cannot get 5 star facilities . Its a basic hotel clean i can say . There is a restaurant below and around 12 rooms are build above that . Hotel is near to calangute beach . so thats the advantage. Rooms are big enough . ( i read few reviews about the hotel having small rooms ) they are not small. yes bathrooms are small. Hot water is available in the morning only. Bed linen and bath linen was clean but torn . so thats a shame. owner should look into this urgently lights bathroom in common areas were flickering which is very irritating. the common areas are a bit food and alcohol smelly as it has restaurant downstairs. that should be the case with almost all the hotels i guess as people come only for the very purpose . restaurant service starts at 9 . difficult for people who are used to having tea or coffee early morning when they get up. so was it for us too. Britishers taught how to make good tea to rest of india , but i guess portugese didnt teach goans how to make good tea. Tea is Goa is horrible .TEA WITH Pure MILK AND NO WATER ? terrible. we had to go out to restaurant opposite side for tailor made tea every morning. owner is request to arrange for hot water kettle with tea and sugar sachets as value added service and guest convenience. rest hotel is okay value for money . we had food is restaurant only once and was okay . there is a flat screen tv ,but we hardly saw it as thats not the purpose of visiting goa. lot of restaurants in and around so in a way good for guests…
Worst hotel which I ever stayed in Goa, basically its not a hotel at all, the hotel does not have a proper reception, it smells all the way to your room, mainly does not have a proper power backup, I was sitting in my room the whole night without electricity and they did not bothered to address the issue. The whole enjoyment of Goa will go away everytime you enter the lodge. There no manager sitting in the so called reception, only room boy and he does not help that much. They have a curry point restaurment which is shown in the photos, people only come to have food there and not to stay in the lodge. There are many alternatives and again I am saying with my true experience PLS STAY AWAY
Very nice hotel near to beach at Calangute. Rooms are small but nice and clean with balcony. Foods are good in restaurant. Complimentary breakfast is not remarkable. It is couple friendly. Good value for money.
Room was neat, clean, spacious and had a balcony. Hotel is conveniently located - right by the Calangute-Candolim main road with easy accessibility to buses, autos & taxis. Staff behaviour is fine. Here are the problems: 1. This is not exactly a 'Hotel', just a restaurant with rooms constructed above as an after-thought. So there is no proper reception area or lifts. 2. Accessible entrance is through the restaurant. Though there is another entrance by a small room acting as a makeshift reception, this remains closed after staff leaves. 3. During my stay, stacks of boxes occupied the already narrow corridor leading to stairs. 4. Security of the hotel is dubious or non-existent - I did not see any guard during my stay. At 4:30AM in the morning there were group of guys and girls having a loud argument. 5. Door does not have latches or security bolt, just a knob with a press-in lock. Anyone with a spare key of the room can access the room easily or with a strong shove, break open the door.…
Pros: Great staff. Comfortable rooms with a balcony. Nice location on Candolim-Calangute road. Staying here means you are at a walkable distance to the quieter stretch of Calangute beach. Also, you will be near to all good nightclubs Cons: No lift.
Located near to major places, live music in the club downstairs, a lot of clubs serving INDIAN and western food are near this place. Super friendly staff and helpful. Can not recommend more of this when visiting to goa.
My trip date was 17th to 20th May 2018 Pros: beach is within 500m. Hookah available in the room. Staffs are very helpful and polite. Breakfast is available, but we didn't take it coz the nearby shacks makes awesome sandwiches... Cons: Cozy rooms are a bit small, but I am ready to ignore the fact, because of the customer service and room budget. Conclusion: I am going to book this again, if I decide to stay in Calangute beach again. Regards.
Visited the hotel but didn’t stay at this place as the room shown was not very clean, staff had no uniform so didn’t know who to ask in the beginning.. The reception was like any lodge reception ... entered the restaurant but no one was thr so left... THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT but I guess the small hotel needs some attention.... Hope to stay during my next visit ..
The Hotel is New and Clean. Location is far from Beach. Service is bad. The Hotel didn't provide Towels for a Day. The Maintenance of Equipment they have is "Zero". The Hot Water System was not Working. Management and Restaurant is Divided. The free Breakfast is always an Issue. Overall Ok.
we are of 6 people in 3 rooms booked in this hotel on july 29-2016 -02-august-2017 room numbers are 101,104,105 the rooms are very good and neat , bathrooms are clean and tidy, the restaurant and bar people are very polite and the manager is always attentive , when ever we need they have arranged the transportation from hotel to the airport as well, willing to visit this hotel again in the month of November.
