The hostel is located 500m from Calangute beach in North Goa and is an ideal social base to have fun with fellow travelers in India's party town. Goa is one of the very few places in India where one gets to witness a blend of Indian and Portuguese culture. This blend is responsible for the laid-back, tropical vibe the tiny state of Goa emanates. Our advice - Hire a bike to roam around the streets of Goa and go beach hopping. When you feel a bit tired, relax on the beach shacks with a drink and admire the sea. An old, authentic Portuguese house, which has been converted into Zostel, seems to have it all in Goa. The hostel's beauty is augmented by the dense flora all around it, making one feel comfortable in the lap of nature since the sea is so very close!

Worst Experience Zostal Hostel GOA not recommencement to book this hotel As we had such a very very bad experience our first night there, we check in on 21st Feb 2020 & left the next day (even though we paid for 3 nights up front). I asked for a refund for the remaining nights, but the receptionist told me I had to make this request by email. Which I did, and I never received a reply (not even an apology) Unwelcoming staff, they preferred to hang out with their friends instead of helping us to check in, Loud, annoying music blasting in the common area, Dirty bathrooms, No water, No Electricity ,Messing up and forgetting orders at the restaurant. No possibility for refund

It is close to beach. Ambience is good and rooms are clean. When it comes to unplanned trips, Zostels are always best. If you are going with group of friends, Zostel Goa is the best option stay. It is pocket friendly.

I am an event manager by profession and I keep travelling to various cities for events, there are some instances when you get some time free to explore the cities your are travelling to in between work. I was in Goa for a destination wedding which was supposed to start a day after I reached goa, so for a day I was on my own and decided to explore the city and live a bad-packers life for a day. I chose to stay at Zostel, Calangute I must say that this experience is above all 5/7 star hotels. You get to meet and interact with people from all walks of life. The concept of Co-living or open living spaces has really impressed me and I shall always opt for these options than any hotel.

The zostel is located near calangute, hence it took 1 hour at most to reach any place in goa. However there's no view to the rooms or dining area. The staff is good. Only go here if you wish to keep your luggage at a place and explore.

The place was awesome.It's hard to find a place in GOA which is good and reasonable. We're a group 3 friends.It felt like our own hostel in terms of aura and support.The staff was amazing,they were like one of us.It never felt that it was a commercial place.food was good. the best thing was common area and people you end up meeting there from all the places in the world.we talked,argued,laughed and enjoyed.Perfect place for socializing as well. Next time im going goa with friends imma surely staying at zostel \z/. Cheers!

Wonderful place 😊 I have such beautiful memories. I went there solo with my reservations n skeptical mind but the moment I entered the facility people were so warm including guests n staff that within moments I found myself in company of 4 people sharing beer n stories later I spent 2 days with them playing uno, jenga, beach hopping and shopping. You go alone but you leave with a lot of friends n memories from this place. It's not a hotel, it's for the experience n vibe that we go there.😊

amazing place to be. good opportunity to make friends cross borders. only hostelers will really know the fun being in ZOSTEL.. friendly management i give it 9 out of 10. its close to calangute and baga beach. car n bike rentals are handy even the management help in getting the rentals in the best price. prime location are just minutes away. with friends u would not want to look for other place to stay.

Stayed at the Female dormitory for 3 days along with couple of friends and must say that the stay was really good and worth the money that we spent. Bachelor friendly and not to worry about the safety,Best pocket friendly place to crash and decent crowd,closest beach Baga/calanagute at a radius of about 3kms.

My 6 night stay at zostel Goa was an incredible experience. From the minute I checked in I felt as though I was part of a small family. AD and Sid are so welcoming and helpful. The people I met throughout my stay made the trip so memorable to me. Location was great with close beaches and eating spots. The cafe has a huge selection of food items to choose from at really good prices. I recommend zostel Goa to any single or small group travellers! Can't wait to return! Thanks zostel Goa crew.
