Kingstork is a small, 10-room resort tucked away in a small street off the Calangute-Aguada Road. We had heard good reviews about this resort and arrived with great expectations and Kingstork did not disappointed us. Booking was through email communication with the owner. Details are available in their website (www.kingstork.com). Facilities are simple and functional. We were very particular about the cleanliness and that where Kingstork was impressive (considering the low pricing). Breakfast was complimentary, small but adequate (eggs to order, toast w butter/jam & coffee). The restaurant was open only for breakfast since it was off-season. The staff were very helpful though not very informative about the nearby eat-outs and other facilities. There is a fine dining place…
This was our 2nd visit to Kingstork and will return again, in a good position for beach[2mins] shops and great places to eat.Excellent staff and Stanley&his wife Rouena keep the place in tip top condition, the rooms bedding and towels are all spotless. Good breakfast which is included in the tariff. Looking forward to the next time Ann&John
Nice rooms, nice service, ground floor rooms have better access to pool. Off season, the restaurant was closed. We drove from Bangalore to Goa, and the hotel represetative came to a convinient place from where he guided to the hotel. Bathroom could have been seperated with a wet (for showeer) and dry place.
We traveled to Goa on Boxing day 2006, with our 12 year old daughter and our 2 year old and at the time I was 6 months pregnant. Despite having traveled in India before we were worried about standards of hotels with such a young child. The kingstork was perfect, only 8 rooms meant that we often had the pool to our selves, the staff were happy to bring us our breakfast to our veranda and the children loved the swim up bar. The location on holiday street means that there is a great selection of resturants to suit every tast and the beach is a 2 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and made us welcome and we were very reluctant to leave and travel round the rest of Goa - we cant wait to return next year.
