This was our third stay at the Kingstork Beach Resort. Out of nine trips this is still the best hotel. Four of us stayed in the Treehouse this time. It was great. Spacious with air con throughout, flatscreen tv's and a big fridge /freezer. Spotlessly cleaned everyday with lovely white towels and sheets.Constant hot water for showers or Jacuzzi bath. Tea and coffee provided. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The included breakfast was very good, cooked to order. There are also additional items available at a small additional cost. The price of the minibus is also very reasonable. The pool and bar area are lovely. So all the amenities are excellent. What makes this hotel special is the people who run it. Stanley ,Ruena and Kyle make you very welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. There is a very calm, peaceful atmosphere. The staff, who seem very happy working here, were there when we went four years ago, which I think says a lot about the place. The location can't be faulted, quiet but close to good restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is a stone's throw away. We had a perfect 2 weeks here and look forward to a longer stay when work allows. We booked for next year before we left. Thank you Stanley, Ruena,Kyle and the staff for a great stay. We hope you are all keeping well in the current situation.

This was our 2nd consecutive year of staying at kingstork. Initially, I opted for this hotel on recommendation of one of my friend. Stay was such a pleasure that it mesmirised us.

The topmost USP of the hotel is hygeine and cleanliness. The standard is so high (and owner personally supervise to ensure it) that it is even uncommon in very high end hotels. Housekeeping is done everyday . Toilet is sparkling clean. Bed linen are changed almost every day.

Location is excellent. Beach is on two minutes walking distance. So you can enjoy the beach but still away from noise and extreme crowd of Calangute main beach entrance.

Breakfast is having though limited menu but it is so good n tasty that we never felt of its limited spread.

Staff are very polite, courteous and ever helping. Therefore, when we left the hotel, we felt like going from my home.

Have just returned from a months a stay at Kingstork Beach Resort, as usual it was amazing, accommodation was high class as usual, food in restaurant as good as anywhere, we ordered Tiger prawns and they were so Tasty and presentation perfect, the bar area is very popular during early evening before people either visit the restaurant or go out somewhere else for the evening, there is just a great ambience at Kingstork! The staff as always cannot do enough for you and make you feel so welcome....as for the owners Stanley, Ruena and their son Kyle, we class them as friends now and are wonderful people......best holiday destination ever 👍🏼

My three friends and I arrived on 7th March for our three week holiday at the Kingstork and were greeted with a warm welcome from Stanley and his wife. The porters took our cases to our rooms on the 1st floor which were clean and airy with a refrigerator, TV and Air-con, we had balconies with pool side views and everything looked great. Our problems started not with Stanley or his staff but the other guests on the six ground floor rooms. Let me explain. These six ground floor rooms were more like a “gated community” and were occupied by the most belligerent, ignorant people I have ever met. They told us that all twelve sunbeds belonged to the six ground floor rooms and we couldn't use them so we asked Stanley and he said all the beds were for all his guest. That didn't make any difference the beds had towels on them every morning, it was easy for them, the beds were right outside their door with their swimwear drying. One of these particular nasty guest suggested we use the sunbeds on the other side of the pool, she meant the ones by the tall bushes and they were all in the shade (the bushes are now a lot taller than the photo's) . These guest seemed to think they had special privileges after staying at this hotel for several years and they would prefer it if you walked on the far side of the pool so you didn't disturb them.
I lost count of the times these people would put their towels on the beds and not even stay pool side but leave on sight seeing trips or go shopping for seven or eight hours. Fortunately for us the beach was only 3 minutes walk away but sadly for Stanley the £30 or £40 we spent everyday was going to the beach shack bars and not into the till of the Kingstork bar.
I wish Stanley his wife & staff all the best but the next time I visit Goa will not be at the Kingstork.

Again we visited Kingstork, we consider this a home from home in Goa, our friends often ask us why we always return to the same place as the worlds a big place, well, we know that we will always get a warm welcome, the facilities are wonderful, they are clean, airy, light and well maintained, we have our rooms cleaned everyday with clean towels and bed linen changed often, all the rooms are great, we often stay on the top floor, we love having a drink on the balcony and watching the world go by, so interesting. You can also stay on the bottom floor, we have stayed there on our last two visits, the advantage of this is that you seem to talk to everyone who goes past or uses the pool, we have made so many friends since we have been visiting Kingstork, friends who we have seen when back in England, everyone are so friendly and in the evening around the bar it's like being in your local pub such is the community feel.
Stanley, Ruena and Kyle, we consider as friends and the staff are amazing, all of them could not do enough to make your stay comfortable, we also consider them friends and have had many a good laugh with them, they all work so hard to make your stay an amazing experience.
The beach is close and a number of nice restaurants are within walking distance, so the perfect place to just chill and take it easy.
I cannot wait to visit again, thinking of Kingstork keeps me going whilst at work!!!!

The staff, the rooms, and the pool is very nice. If you are looking for a comfy stay with good breakfast and very good ambiance.
Only issue is, they don't have a lot of Parking space but the beach is walking 2 mins just behind the resort. Location is really nice and calm so you can enjoy a peaceful holiday.

Had a wonderful stay again in Kingstork, been 2 years since last visit due to COVID. It was everything we remembered and more, the welcome we received was amazing, Stanley, Ruena, Karl and the team looked after us from the start to finish the finish of our holiday, nothing is to much trouble for them, the staff are attentive as always and again make your stay comfortable. For first time we had a ground floor room, was clean and comfortable, we eat in the restaurant a few times and I think the food has got better, Stanley ordered us king prawns for our last night meal, amazing again……can’t wait to return in March 2023.

Right on the beach. Walkable distance to Pubs, Restaurants, Shops. Very well maintained. Clean & hygienic. Close to happening places, though peaceful. Worth value for money. Owner Stanley is very friendly and supportive. Nicely planned & maintained landscape, a good variety of plants. Clean beach with good beach shacks, NOT very crowded.

Hi Jo, First off, apologies for the delay in replying to your query. I only just got a notification today in my Inbox from Trip Advisor about a member comment. >looking at booking direct with kings stork, they are sending a link for me to pay a deposit & say to pay the balance in cash on arrival. Does this sound right? - Yes, this is their standard practice. >Never been to India so not sure if procedures! - It varies. Some ask for the entire amount up front, others accept an initial amount upon check in and then, there are places like Kingstork that request a half-and-half, if you will. >Never been to India - To be cliché, ‘tis a beautiful country, but brace thyself for the sounds, sights and smells. Hit you like a steamroller. But when you get past that, it’s lovely. Another word of caution. Remember India has widespread poverty. So you will encounter people who will use whatever means possible to survive. Sadly, we, trusting outsiders on holiday, learn expensive lessons at times. Other Qs about Kingstork? Fire away. You can mail me directly at jaycp365-new @ yahoo. co. uk only because of the 7 day delay in receiving the notification from Trip Advisor. Janice P.S.: I realised that their policy forbids links. So I’ve broken up my addy above. Please connect the dots, no, spaces. :-)
