Detailed Reviews
We didnt stay at the Casa de Goa but at a guesthouse close by. When the beach shacks were late opening in November 2019 we used the Casa de Goa sunbeds, pool and had food there during the day. We were charged 300 rupees each to use the facilities and the internet, which i thought was very reasonable. All the staff at the Hotel are very polite and cant do enough for you. We ate most afternoons and the food is delicious. Nippon the pool attendant made sure we were well looked after during the day and John the waiter made sure we had all the food and drinks we needed. Excellent place to stay, I would reccomend this hotel to ant visitor its a gem. Thank you to the management for allowing us to use your facilties.

+1
We stayed at the wonderful Casa De Arte, which is a very modern and contemporary hotel with spacious rooms, great hospitality, humble staff and is located very close to the Candolim Beach.
The property was easily located by us and we had a very smooth Check in process. We could walk to the beach and the other destinations too were not very far. Plus it was very lively even at night so we never felt unsafe or lost.
The room we had was a solo traveler one, yet it was very elegant, spacious, had a very cute balcony which definitely completed the look and feel. Perfect for two people. But they do have bigger rooms which you can check out before booking the property.
The hosts were very humble, friendly and approachable.
We stayed there for two days and In the morning we had such a lavish breakfast I can't even express that in words. The generosity that was shown in the breakfast really made our hearts smile and our tummies happy. They had variety, quality and quantity with good taste and flavours. Stuffed our faces with yummy breakfast and energized ourselves for the day ahead.
Late night, we sat in the balcony and had a great time while the cold breeze blew around us. Just Perfect!

Really loved this 4* boutique hotel.
Pros
1) clean room
2) great service
3)they change bedsheets, towels etc every day
4)good cozy restaurant
Cons
1) people were in the swimming pool with cotton clothes and management didn't stop them
2) break fast timing is from 7.30 am but they don't start before 8.15
Despite few cons still I would give 5* ratings, hoping that casa de goa takes care of cons in the next visit. Love to be here again.

Thanks for your awesome review which will surely motivate us to maintain the high standards of Casa de Goa and strive to do even better. We will pass on your good wishes to our staff . Regarding the attire in the swimming pool we constantly inform guests through notices but most of the time they say that they are using nylon clothes to avoid the sun rays. Secondly it is difficult to get swimming costumes for unusual sizes. Have noted your complain about breakfast however our breakfast timing is from 8 am to 10.30 am but we have guests having breakfast past 10.30 am. We will do our best to be consistent with our quality of service and facilities. We will be obliged if you could recommend our resort to your family and friends. We stayed in the villa for 4 nights. They no longer provide a butter service as mentioned. Staff has been cut down to half and whatever is left some of them are rude. Tattered pool towels, ruffed out sofas and lamps, old broken iPads, tvs malfunctioning in the rooms. Room service ever so forgetful to get the items ordered along with the extras specifically mentioned while ordering.
We traveled with our 5 year old son. A caretaker traveled with us who stayed in an adjacent hotel. 1 night when we were out and our son was sleeping anf the caretaker was left there to look upon him. The hotel called saying outside guests aren't allowed and we will charge you for an extra guest, I obliged by saying go ahead, charge me. However they kept refusing to charge me and kept insisting that if I don't come back in 30 mins they will ask the caretaker to leave and let my child be alone. I requested them to infact charge for for another room instead of an extra guest. They denied and insisted I return else they will ask the caretaker to leave. I had no choice so I returned.
I belive the above is self explainatory and I don't need to elaborate any further about the bunch of people they had on duty that night.
Another incident comes to mind. Our mini bar was empty. House keeping asked me wether they i want it to be stocked it? I said sure why not, what's the harm. We did not use the mini bar. However we were charged for the entire mini bar. The front desk did not seem to agree to our reasoning that if we don't use it we do not get charged. However they billed and we paid. Only when a senior manager intervened they refunded the additional charge.
These guys really need to pull up their socks. No reasons to ever return.

Thanks for taking time to put up this review. Well would accept the fact that the F&B service was not up to the mark. On that particular day 03 of the F&B staff did not turn up on duty for personal reasons and illness. Would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused. Again the Ipad and T.V malfunctioning was due to frequent voltage fluctuations and this has an adverse effect on electrical appliances. However the maintenance staff got your T.Vs functioning. The room upholstery was not a problem. Secondly regarding the Caretaker you should have informed the reception that a person would be coming to babysit your child . As per hotel policy only guests who have registered with us are allowed in the room. Without identification we would not permit anyone to enter the room. Finally regarding the Mini Bar there surely was a misunderstanding because you had requested the Mini Bar team to replenish the drinks as the fridge was empty. The reception staff was not aware that you had not used the Mini Bar but had just ordered because the fridge was empty., Once again sorry for the inconvenience and will looking forward to seeing you at Casa de Goa some day. Regards, Edwin Dias (General Manager)

Stayed in Casa De Goa in the last week of December with my wife and son. The resort is located approx. 15 mins walk from Calungute beach.
The entire resort though small is very well maintained. The rooms are categorized into rooms, suites and villas and are spotlessly clean. The staff is one of the friendliest that we have encountered on our travels in India and abroad. They really go out of their way to make your day. Housekeeping is very good and their laundry service is quite reasonable.
The pool is also very well kept (they have 2 pools by the way). Breakfast though not very elaborate was quite sufficient and included eggs and dosas to order (try their french toasts and potato croquettes........Simply awesome). The bakery section can be improved though with a bit more variety.
Overall we had an amazing stay. Will surely return in the future with family and friends. Till then ...... Keep up the good work.

We stayed in this property for 3 Nights for a family vacation.
Excellent front desk staff. Always very responsive.
Food was very nice. Breakfast spread had many options and all were very up to mark.
Housekeeping too was always available on request.
Location of resort provides quick access to Calangute Beach and other nearby beaches (Sequerim, Bagha, Anjuna ).
Calangute Beach, and Market is just a walkable distance.
Overall this was full value for the money.

Hi All,
I usually dont write reviews but was compelled to write for this hotel.
Goa was our first break during the covid period & the hotel lived up to its expectations especially when it comes to its customer service.
The hotel is located close the calangute beach (500-600) meters.
You rent a bike/car which is right across the hotel gate (recommend Butterfly rental)
The main reason for choosing the hotel
1. Approximity to the beach
2. Bathtub in every room😀
3. Location - Calangute
4. Swimming pool - though it was closed had ample space .. 5 feet deep & also seperate pool for kids
The hotel on request arranged a candle light dinner for us right outside our room .
Every room has a pool view ..
It's has approx 48 rooms which are spacious & have enough storage space .
We had lunch & dinner at various renowned restaurants in Candolim, Calangute & Anjuna area but the food offered by the hotel was the best we tasted during our stay this time.
Special thanks to the staff & F&b manager for their hospitality & making our anniversary special.
Only 1 area which can be improved is the buffet menu option which were limited but tasty.
Regards,
Mohit Relia

I visited here on 7th March 2020. It is a very clean hotel. Very peaceful, far from any nuisance. One could take their whole family there because the environment of hotel is very good. The staff is very polite. On time service is a good Part here. Laundry is available which makes things easy in a place like Goa. The only drawback I felt was lack of taste in buffet breakfast. The hotel is located in a prime location from where the Calangute beach is very near. The Guard is present 24×7 which is good for security and for vehicle parking. Pool is very clean. Every night they maintain their pool. All together a good choice who are planning to visit Goa.

Hello,
We stayed in villa rooms of the resort. These rooms are lovely, well furnished and fulfills your need for relaxing holidays.
Pros
1. The villas are present on a different campus, and with limited number of villas rooms, you can say your stay will be mostly private. We enjoyed the whole to ourselves and had lovely relaxing stay.
2. The amenities in are rooms are well up to the standards with 2 TVs, living room, the kids enjoyed in house entertainment system.
3. When you are going with young children, you will definitely love the privacy and freedom of the villas.
Cons
The staff at the resort needs to be more courteous and respectful for guests.
'we arrived around 9:30 to 10pm at the resort, instead of greeting us at the reception with relaxing drinks, we were instantly asked for IDs, and fill up the forms. Where are booking was fully paid upfront, we asked let us relax for a while and we will do the needful, he insisted that first we need to do the formality. keeping in mind we were 2 couples with 3 children, all tired of the journey ahead.
Another instance was when asked for empty plates for our infant, they simply refused to provide, saying we cannot give plates for outside food. We did say that we need it for our baby, who needs certain food, and we would like 2 plates to handle it, they refused, we had to put a small fight to get some basic service, considering we demanded for baby/children.
No one even bothered to apologize for these events.
The food here is average. When the resort is fully booked, be prepared for delayed services and orders mixed up.
when we tried to book airport pickup services, we couldn't get one from the resort, we booked it online. infact we got a better deal, a great car service from
But our kids loved the stay for the facility and privacy.

Thanks for your awesome review which will surely motivate us to maintain the high standards of Casa de Goa and strive to do even better. We will pass on your good wishes to our staff , Sorry about the receptionist insisting on completing the formalities. Since the concerned staff was on training it was unfortunate that he insisted on completing the formalities of checking in instead of asking you to relax and have your welcome drink. Next time you come you will not have to experience such behavior. Regarding providing of empty plates normally we do not provide if food is brought from outside but if it was just one plate for your child than it should not be a problem. We will do our best to be consistent with our quality of service and facilities. We will be obliged if you could recommend our resort to your family and friends. As soon as you arrive at this charming rustic Indian hotel the friendly helpful staff are there to help you. If you want anything all you have to do is ask any of the team and they will sort it for you. They have loads of local knowledge and can advise you of just about anything.
The room wasn't newly refurbished and that added to the charm. The bed was so very comfortable with clean sheets and towels daily. There is plenty of usable storage space in the room so can put your suitcases well out of site until you need to pack them again.
The dining room which doubles up as a restaurant and a bar is open all hours with attentive staff serving authentic food and drinks. The free breakfast is is more than enough to set you up for the day. They do a great masala dosa! It is a good place to meet fellow travellers from India and the rest of the world and share your experiences and local tips.
The swimming pool isn't an Olympic size pool but is perfect for relaxing and can be viewed from most of the rooms.
The hotel is well positioned slightly away from the main hustle and bustle of the town of Calangute and is on the local bus route for the small buses to the rest of the local towns. It is a short walk to the town or the beach which is well equipped with shacks where you can have drinks, meals and use their sunbeds. Great for watching the sunsets and the occasional cow family having a gentle stroll down the beach.
The hotel has had a recent change of manager and he is very visible and approachable.
We are going to visit again later in the year knowing that we can arrive unpack and carry on where we left off before.
