While the rooms are generally appreciated for their comfort and style, guests have voiced concerns regarding privacy and soundproofing. The hotel's vibrant atmosphere, marked by live music and quirky design, is frequently highlighted as a highlight for special occasions. Pros: The staff is very good, especially the front desk and manager. They tried to help in all possible manner to make our stay comfortable.
The location is great as the hotel is right on the beach.
The food is quite good, especially a la carte menu. I tried the prawn curry, burger and the wraps. They were very tasty.

Cons:

Although they charge 4/5 star rates, the quality of the infrastructure is poor. The hotel is small with no lift, lots of random stairs and badly designed small rooms. They have attempted to be funky and tried give an avante garde look but it just looks cheap. The doors have life size portraits of Goa's who's who in the arts circle, which makes them look extremely weird and quite icky. The suites maybe better but they didn't have one available so we had to take a deluxe room. The room fittings and furnishing is old and almost falling apart. The furniture is cheap plastic and looks it. The open plan bathroom doesn't work well in such a small space if you are traveling with family. Very little cupboard space.

The feel of the room is a barely 2 star hotel.

It's ok for young people or couples if they want to spend their time in the beach. Not recommended if you are traveling with infants and need to spend considerable time in the room.

Excellent hospitality. Beginning at the front desk as you check in, restaurant and housekeeping staff all of them are courteous and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast menu needs a revamp and more dishes of the local cuisine needs to be added to the menu. Stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time.

Our stay at The Park, Calangute fulfilled everything we’d hoped and were looking forward to. One thing that really stood out and made our stay all the more comfortable and pleasurable were the staff. Everyone from the front desk staff, the guard, the waiters, cook, manager to cleaners were extremely hospitable, friendly and helpful. They made sure we had the best and the most comfortable stay.
Loved every bit of our time at The Park.

Today let’s talk about The Park - GOA.
This is the last hotel if you are staying in GOA, you should look for. If you see the adds in the online sites and think of this hotel 🏨 then please please rethink. I am telling out of experience. I am staying as I write this review in Room # 213, 215 and 221.

Firstly if you ask google map for searching this hotel 🏨, I can bet you, you will go wrong. It will take you so some roads and you will land up no where. There are no sign boards which will tell you where the hotel is.

We reached hotel last night and there was no precaution taken at hotel. Our luggage 🧳 and bags 💼 weren’t sanitised also. This was the second surprise.

The third one is you would enter the room and you will tell that the room is a pigeon hole. Seriously you would have paid a bomb and then when you reach you will for sure fell cheated.

The WC 🚽 in the bathroom is I guess was cleaned when GOA was independent. I am serious you can check my photos of my room. The bed 🛏 spread was so dirty. Had to dust it and then sleep on it.

Now the bigger challenge again in this hotel is there is no food in the night. Man this is the last thing after traveling all places and you don’t even get a sandwich 🥪. No please don’t treat a guest so hungry like these. We asked them for atleast bread 🍞 and butter 🧈 man, we were told kitchen is getting sanitised. We asked them oh okay what should a guest do if he is hungry, then no answer.

Now let’s talk about today morning breakfast. I went just at 9 AM and came out by 10:43 AM. So poor planning it was that our other room guests had to leave without having it. If you look at the portion size it’s oops.

I guess please don’t fall pray for the brand name.

Hotel with 4 star tarrifs and 2 star facilities/services

Rooms are very-very small and claustrophobic, with no balcony. Even when hotel occupancy was as low as 30%, several requests for a free upgrade or a better room were declined. No efforts were made by management during our 6 days stay to check satisfaction.
A big no for family stay as there are no activities for kids. A very boring place and kids will keep bothering the parents.
Water served in glass bottles in rooms and restaurant was always dirty even after several complaints, with a green layer at the bottom of the bottle.
Taxi union strike was going on from several days before our arrival and hotel did not even care to inform us beforehand for us to make alternate arrangements timely. On landing at Goa airport we were shocked to know that there was no taxi for Calangute. Wasted several hours and paid exorbitant fare to reach hotel.
Absolutely no focus from The Park management.
Wasted 6 days at the hotel.

Hello,
I got a deal from 1 of the website for studio suite and I booked it for 4 days, it had pictures of the suite but didn't have picture of outside view.
When I checked in the hotel they showed me a suite which was on ground floor and the view in front of that suite I have shared below.
When I told them that I am not happy and why would I pay so much for this kind of view then the staff showed me suite which was on 1st floor with a beach view. When I asked them to give me that suite they asked me to pay more 8000rs for 4 days which was absolutely ridiculous. I spoke to the management for sometime but till the end they didn't agree for me to have the suite on 1st floor. Since it was my honeymoon 1st day, i didnt want to spoil my mood and so i finally agreed to pay 8000rs extra.
Also a day prior I got a call from the hotel saying that, can we do any arrangements for the honeymoon but that too was not done.
My sister and my brother in law were also staying in Hilton hotel, Goa. I asked them to visit our hotel just to show them our room, but the RECEPTIONIST woman didn't allow me to get them in the hotel and the reason she gave me was due to covid. In the suite next to us there were 4-6 men staying in 1 room and when we told her that you are allowing 4-6 men in 1 room and not allowing our guest for sometime, she gave us an idiotic reason that those people paid for the room and so they have allowed them.
So the hotel logic is if you are paying to stay, corona won't affect you but if you are not paying, you are a threat to the hotel.
I am really not happy with this kind of behaviour from the RECEPTIONIST woman and the management.
And lastly I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, I will be sharing this review with all the websites and make sure that all are aware with this kind of treatment to the guest.

Though the location of the resort is prime and it is a beach side property, but it comes with a cost. Rooms were not that maintained and the pool is a bit smaller than expected. Also in the rooms there is no partion toilet bed partition, you can imagine how it feels. Else the beach is very clean and beautiful, there is no doubt about that.

We stayed in both of The park properties in Goa, and loved them both!
The park Calangute have a great location just a few steps from the beach.

We ordered a floating breakfast to the pool and had cocktails every evening in front of the sunset to the hotel balcony bar. the service in The Park is always amazing, and we absolutely loved the decor and location!

the food was really good, and we had the best time!
perfect for couples!

The rooms does not have separate washrooms, its its an open washroom which makes the smell linger in the room. The staff is slow and laxed in providing services, oher than the restaurant there is nothing to look forward to in this property. The price that they charge for the property is not worth the service or the rooms that they give you may go for better properties like Hyatt or Taj if you want a luxury stay this properties not recommended. Not a hospitality oriented property. You should pay maximum of 4K for this property not more not something that they charge at 13k per room. The food out of everything taste good but the service is too slow.

This hotel has a very different vibe, and I mean it, I've traveled a lot to goa with my family always but this place is AMAZING. The lobby is quiet wild and different from regular hotels but do not worry you and your family is very much safe inside. The room are so beautiful so beautiful I just didn't feel like going out once I was in. The lights the interior aas very unique, just a small inconvenience is that the bathroom and washroom doesn't have lock system and nor sound proof door, hence if you are with family its a bit weird.
Now the food, we didn't eat much here, but whatever few dishes we had they were so delicious, their Sunday brunch menu is what you'd crave for. The staff is very courteous and friendly, they are the sweetest and talk so softly, if you want anything just call them up and they will arrange it for you even if it's in the odd hours.
If you want a different, cute but unique stay please stay at this place.
