I visited this property in "May" Third Week for six days. It was Wonderful Experience. Though I reached late evening without prior booking. The Reception desk Ms. Michelle, Ms. Moon and Mr. Siddharth supported me well by providing Room without any hustle. The Breakfast, La Carte and Buffet Meals were really good and yum. As the tourist season just started after two years of lockdown , People were really looking to swipe away the blues of lockdown and routine life. The Hospitality Approach of all the duly qualified Hotel Employees , right form gate security to Reception, Room Service, was really warm, Assistant Chef ,Head Chef ,Stewards, Waiters, Honest back office and accounts. This is a Marriott select property but the employees were providing the services of premium and Luxury property. Taking care while we were visiting sightseeing places. The chef Mr. Praveen, Ms. Sheetal was always giving personal touch by asking about the taste and quality of food. Head Chef Mr.Mohanti was very particular about Taste Quality and Hygiene of Food and Restaurant. The stewards Meenakshi and Vikas were very efficiently managing Restaurant Staff. After two months i still remember all by their name. They were handling All kinds of people Family, High Status people, Old Age , Kids, Singles ,Couples , Youngster really well. With extra training and Appreciation they have potential to serve at any Marriott property all over the world. Rooms were Nice and clean and with plenty of sunlight and air. Overall it was a Pleasant memorable experience. Fairfield Calangute is one of the best Property in Goa.

We stayed in the Fairfield Marriot Calangute this summer. It was a VERY relaxing stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool! The hotel is located in Calangute, Goa' nightlife capital, yet the location of the hotel makes you feel like you live in a very authentic part of Goa. The room we stayed in overlooked coconut plantations and the mountains.! And yet, the beach is just nearby. So are all major shopping centres and other amenities. It's the perfect mix of living in a quiet and quaint area and yet being close enough to popular restaurants and the beach!
The rooms are done up very tastefully, with azuljeos work, which add a special touch. The staff are very courteous, make you feel very welcome and are always ready to help.

I stayed at this hotel along with my wife and my 11 month kid for 8 nights as it was both business and personal trip. The hotel is fairly new, inaugurated in March 2022. what makes this hotel a great choice is not that it's new, but it's staff, right from the time you enter. Be it security, front desk, staff and chef at restaurant Kava, housekeeping or room service, everyone ensures they do their part and beyond to take care of you. As my kid needs baby food, the chef ensured we got her meal just like we would at our home. Thanks to chef Praveen for taking care of it. The location of hotel is great since it's 15 mins drive to any of the beach that you want to vist around Calangute.
A special mention and thanks to Ms. Sunita Kamat, Guest relations associate. Since it was my wife's birthday on one of the days during our stay, when I requested her if she can arrange for a cake in the evening by the time we are back to room, she happily agreed and made sure it was there. It made our day.
Over all a perfect hotel, in terms of location, comfort and staff.

We checked into this hotel that seemed nice in the photos and online reviews.
The hotel itself is much smaller than the photos suggest. The pool is also much less interesting and it has a metal post fence around the shallow kids pool. The room is small and all the liquids (soap, lotion) are in bottles attached to the wall. The floor was dusty.
We had issues in the ability to book a taxi in Goa. The state has their own mobile app, GoaMiles, that is difficult to book through especially if you are not from India and don’t have an Amex card. The hotel brochure says the hotel staff at the front desk or travel desk (which they don’t have) will help in booking the taxi but they just told us where to walk to get one. It was not until I had called down to the lobby twice did the rooms manager appear at my door saying she can give me the number of the taxi place they are near to and recommend clients use. This is a major issue. It makes foreigners rely on taxi services they don’t know in a foreign place without anyone to hold accountable for issues in addition to no one maintaining fair pricing for people.
The hotel staff member told us that the four star hotel doesn’t have all the luxury amenities such as concierge, but they make up for it by putting in extra efforts to make the stay comfortable for guests…. We booked a hotel stay that included breakfast, either lunch or dinner, and cocktails from 6-8 PM. Online it did not say there were alcohol type limitations in the cocktail hour, but when I ordered I was told tequila was not an option. Not only this, the bartender was not there at 6 PM. The staff did make the margarita, but it was not good. We had the dinner buffet which was actually not a buffet. It was a made to order buffet where you placed the order and then they prepared it to come to your table. Our order was not given in full and we had to re-order items that were missing, which took another 20 or so minutes after we had waited for the first round. The chicken was super dry, the rice was cold, the naan was good, the fish was dry. Overall, I would not recommend the food nor the cocktails.
The people are helpful when you bring up the issues but the most disheartening and disappointing part is that there are issues. This is a four star hotel with the Marriott name and it does not live up to it.

We were family travelling with an infant and had booked 3 rooms for stay in Fairfield Calangute. We got a nice upgrade and our entire stay was super comfortable. The hotel staff especially Ms. Moon from the front desk had offered us great rates and helped us throughout our stay and Rohit Ji from the restaurants did everything he could to ensure we had a good time at all meals. Any special food requirements were well taken care off by him. Ms. Sunita always made sure that we were well informed about the city and nearby attractions in detail. Huge shoutout to them for their warmth. Also, Mr. Amit took care of our special needs. The pool was clean & maintained. Thanks a ton team Fairfield for a wonderful experience. The best part about the visit was the warm hospitality from all the smiling faces of the staff members! The GM himself cleared the plates from our tables during supper despite plenty of servers being available! We stayed for two nights and the hospitality was consistently good.
Some tips: * Avoid Balcony rooms on fifth floor balcony is too high and nothing is visible. * As declared by the property rooms are on a smaller side. * Only Suites can accommodate a extra bed. * No bell boy for the luggage so help yourself. (not a big task though) * Clean & Crisp newly build property.

I have been planning Goa for a long time and finally made plans to visit and was looking at the decent and a good hotel to stay, with being a Marriot Bonvoy member, the safest option I thought for a decent service and hospitality, I chose Fairfield, which was close to the Calangute and Baga beach (10 mins drive). On the day of arrival, the check in process was so smooth, the manager (don't remember his name) received us so humbly and got us checked in. The dinner at the restaurant was good, but more the hospitality they showed was wonderful, that we felt like a premium 5 star hotel/ resort, which I did not experience in few of the 5 star hotels I visited earlier in other parts of India. During out three days stay, Sunitha who was the customer relation person, had made sure, she walked to us and checked upon at least once a day during our stay, which was wonderful to experience they give to each guest. The best part of the customer service I had experienced, is they asked me for a feedback on the property, which I honestly gave, which I expected them to take back and document it, but to my surprise they sorted that during our stay and fixed it right away, as it was not for the room we stayed, but did not expect so receptive nature of the staff and also they all were very friendly. The swimming pool in the hotel was other thing to mention, which was one of the best pools I have visited in terms of cleanliness and quality of water. Last but not the least, the food was tasty when we ordered to the room, varieties were less in the dinner buffet, but the Chef made sure he personally checked upon with people in the restaurant, everyday.
Overall wonderful stay and will definitely love to come back with my whole Family

We stayed in this property for 2 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This place is very quiet and is at a peaceful location. At first, we were welcomed at the reception with a very good gesture. Once all the formalities were completed, we then requested for candlelight dinner to be arranged for the same night and Ms. Sunita Kamat (Guest Relations) briefed us about the options available for the dinner setup and took us around and showed us the options. We chose the location beside the pool for the candlelight dinner at “The Patio”. Later once we got fresh at the room, the chef called in and gave the options for the dinner and asked us to choose from the menu options that they were serving. We were really happy that we had the option to choose for our celebration.
Later that night, once we reached “The Patio” we were simply amazed by the decorations that were done for the candlelight dinner. We were welcomed by a bouquet and there was a handmade greeting card made by Ms. Sunita Kamat which was simply beautiful. Me and my wife felt so happy away from home to have felt like home. The celebration also included a cake and mocktail. Also Ms. Sunita, requested us to wait for few minutes and she surprised us by getting all the staff in the premises to be part of our celebration which was followed by the cake cutting. After this she informed us that the chef would start serving us with the menu as per our request. We were served with the food as per our request and we really enjoyed our candlelight dinner peacefully and we spent the best time of the day at this celebration. All the menu options that we had chosen also tasted really good. Kudos to the entire team who were part of this for their efforts.

my experience with marriott has always been amazing but this time it was a nightmare. The stay that I had booked was for my guests. He is the Director Of Operations of our organisation. Firstly It was next to impossible to reach your team on the day of arrival. I was following up to check if there's a chance of early check in but the call kept getting disconnected. The other number had same issue. Later at 11:45am someone from reception calls me stating that the payment needs to be taken, I told the gentleman very clearly that my guests would pay for it and they're close by the hotel location if the room is ready i will send my guests. He told me yes the room is ready and i can send them to check in. When they arrived the room was nowhere close to being ready. They had to wait for 1 hour. Somehow i got the number of Arijit Rana and i requested him to assist my guest. He told me that he shall arrange a callback from hotel which never did. Finally they took a twin bed room instead of a queen bed room which was booked as the queen bed room was taking time and they had a kid with them. During breakfast when my guest had requested for an omelette and dosa to be sent to the room for their 5 year old kid it never came.
After paying 12,000 plus taxes for a night that too in a brand like fairfield i dont think anyone deserves to go through all this.

You can easily find out from other reviews that the rooms are smaller but what nobody mentions is That Dining Area to Swimming Pool to every other area is so small. If the Hotel is fully booked, the staff cannot handle it at all. The dining area and serving area are so congested that if all tables near the serving area is occupied, no one can move easily. The staff is rude too. The lady serving Dosa in the morning is so rude that you will cancel your plan to order a dosa. In the evening, the dinner buffet starts at 7 PM but even if you go at 8 PM you will find that the Roti (Indian bread) is not yet put. When you ask staff, they tell you we have a group booking of 50 people and prefer the Roti live. So, I asked for one for myself and had to wait 20-25 minutes. Even waiting was no problem but the lies by staff like I followed up for roti for 15 minutes and she replied its already at the buffet. I go there and it’s not there. When you ask to speak with the chef or ask to speak to the manager at the front desk, one of the most junior will be standing in front of you in disguise as Senior/Manager. Basically, this Hotel is luring guests by offering a cheap deal on Lunch and Dinner buffets which they don’t intend to serve with a smile. The Offloading of human waste every few hours makes so much bad smell that you cant stand near the swimming pool or on your room balcony.

This property opened in March 2022 and is well located as it is not on the main calangute stretch but in one of the by lanes away from the bustling street. Will make my review into pros & cons so as to be fair to the hotel rather than giving them a general review which may not reflect the true picture Pros 1) Neat and clean hotel 2) Excellent service by entire staff in the hotel whether it was in the restaurant or the housekeeping staff, they were all fantastic. Specially would like to mention Mr. Rahul & Mr. Vinayak in the restaurant & the lady housekeeper on the 4th floor, can’t remember her name 3) Location if someone wants to be close to the action at calangute and candolim 4) Buffet was good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet was limited in dishes but everyday there were new dishes with nothing repeated
Cons 1) Swimming pool was a disappointment & we did not enter as the pool had people with their regular clothes on in it. I can understand fully body covered costumes but I do not appreciate or understand how people on t-shirts & pyjamas etc can be allowed in the pool. Just not hygienic & no one from the hotel Staff bothered to stop this. 2) If u have rented a car for your stay then be careful as the valets in the hotel keep changing the parking of the car. This is despite me asking them where to park the car so that they do not have to move it. If the valet has an accident while parking the car then the hotel is not responsible for the damage & I have to pay the entire cost for repairing the hired car & for no fault of mine. This happened every night despite me asking security where to park so that the car is not moved by the valet. 3) Room size slightly on the smaller side but rooms were decent
