For those who love privacy but would still like to be around the hustle and bustle of Calangute / Baga this place is the best option there. The cottages are cast in natural laterite adding to the local flavour and the hosts are so outgoing in making your stay cozy and comfortable you will keep coming back for more. The small resort opens out directly on to the Calangute beach and the view is breathtaking to say the least. Lounge on the sofas and enjoy the sunset or play a round of pool facing the sea. This place is a hidden gem. Ideal for couples pre or post honeymoons !

We just stayed here for a day ,, the location was quite good and also cottage .

You do not get good breakfast / Food options in their restaurant , however we have many options when we come out -- [ Evenings lot of shacks just few meters away, and lott of good BBQ / Grill restaurants @ tonys lane ]

Water sports u see just after u step out of their restaurant path way.

Bed mattress is not good , u wont get Quite sleep.

Service is Ok ,

Over all its a good place to stay if you want happening things near by ....cheers!!

We checked in on 22nd & checked out on 24th March, 2015.
Pros: Free wifi
Just a few metres from sea beach- you can wake up and just walk to the beach in a minute.
Cottages are spacious. We stayed in cottage 14 which was spacious & near the pool.
Swimming pool is small but during off season, it would seem as if its a private pool for you and two families generally avoid using it at the same time (due to its size) so worked for me. We got to use the pool for hours along with our 1 year old kid.

Cons:
Walking to the beach can be difficult during the day time with hot sand. Put your flip flops on.
Breakfast is complimentary but with limited option. Room service means 10% service tax. Quantity of food per plate is strictly for a single person, cannot suffice for two.
We paid Rs. 6500 per night which seemed a lot considering the services/lack of services.
The service people are not at all trained in hospitality. Would speak to you as if you are an alien to have asked for something extra. We asked for bottled water on the day of checkout & were told - "how can bottle be provided if you are checking out. If you want, you can buy it"

Overall impression: go for this place if you can bear with average service quality, would not mind spending the amount being charged for this and would just like to concentrate on enjoying on the beach (water sports, food shacks or just lazying in on the beach)

booked the cottage by seeing its photos ( don"t judge the book by its cover),.
The garden room (only name),which i was stayed is located in front of bushes.
A snake was noticed by me and my family thrilled and scared the whole stay.
Please be polite with owner of cottage, otherwise he may go to any extent to spoil your trip and your peace.
Think twice to book this cottage for your pleasant stay at goa....

Finally discovered the perfect beach resort in Goa :)
Raman resort is located so centrally and yet you do not feel it at all; so peaceful. We absolutely loved the place. Rooms are beautiful with lovely clean bathrooms. Access to beach is the highlight! We swam every morning before the beach got crowded.

Hospitality was awesome. Staff were very cordial and friendly.

Waiting to go back again soon :)

For the first time in my life, I wanted to return to the same hotel, incredible energy and place, very helpful staff, all the requests asked for, all fulfilled without reminders. The value for money is excellent. Direct access to the sea , what a delicious cuisine in the hotel. And the territory is like a fairy tale. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. There's no such hotel anywhere in Goa.

Very bad Hospitality. After telebooking the rooms when we reached the hotel ,the scene was entirely different. The so called owner was sick and his wife had no information on how many people in how many rooms. On top of that they tried to charge us more inspite of me having a detailed discussion the previous day about accomodating 1 more person in a cottage. They made us wait for almost an hour with no proper treatment and the lady who i suppose was the owners wife was extremely rude just because we started questioning them. The entire hotel has some 6 or 7 employees with all of them staring at you when you enter the premises and were at their worst behaviour.

The location of the hotel is tough to find at once but is bang on the beach. With just about 14 rooms and cottages the bartender is the only staff member who is friendly. Rest are just too nosy and keep on disturbing you even at 8 in the morning. The security switches off your electricity in the morning and noone cares to switch it back on. You need to remind them to clean your rooms and provide you with toiletries. The owner is too arrogant and his wife is a pain. Too arrogant.

Just go there if you need a quiet place to crash with your friends and near Baga, Simple.

Seafront beach cottages - is the reason you would want to go.

Stayed there for two nights - on a family member's recommendation. But did not find it all that for the price we paid.

Pool side rooms are good. Noisy but good/cleaner.

Went there in October when there was a non-peak season - however the owner still charged full price 5000 Per night for one room.

Would definitely try other places before going to this place again.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner - all we had to take care. Although the good thing is the owner allowed us to get outside food/alcohol - sometimes that works the best for families.
