You do not get good breakfast / Food options in their restaurant , however we have many options when we come out -- [ Evenings lot of shacks just few meters away, and lott of good BBQ / Grill restaurants @ tonys lane ]
Water sports u see just after u step out of their restaurant path way.
Bed mattress is not good , u wont get Quite sleep.
Service is Ok ,
Over all its a good place to stay if you want happening things near by ....cheers!!
Pros: Free wifi
Just a few metres from sea beach- you can wake up and just walk to the beach in a minute.
Cottages are spacious. We stayed in cottage 14 which was spacious & near the pool.
Swimming pool is small but during off season, it would seem as if its a private pool for you and two families generally avoid using it at the same time (due to its size) so worked for me. We got to use the pool for hours along with our 1 year old kid.
Cons:
Walking to the beach can be difficult during the day time with hot sand. Put your flip flops on.
Breakfast is complimentary but with limited option. Room service means 10% service tax. Quantity of food per plate is strictly for a single person, cannot suffice for two.
We paid Rs. 6500 per night which seemed a lot considering the services/lack of services.
The service people are not at all trained in hospitality. Would speak to you as if you are an alien to have asked for something extra. We asked for bottled water on the day of checkout & were told - "how can bottle be provided if you are checking out. If you want, you can buy it"
Overall impression: go for this place if you can bear with average service quality, would not mind spending the amount being charged for this and would just like to concentrate on enjoying on the beach (water sports, food shacks or just lazying in on the beach)
The garden room (only name),which i was stayed is located in front of bushes.
A snake was noticed by me and my family thrilled and scared the whole stay.
Please be polite with owner of cottage, otherwise he may go to any extent to spoil your trip and your peace.
Think twice to book this cottage for your pleasant stay at goa....
Raman resort is located so centrally and yet you do not feel it at all; so peaceful. We absolutely loved the place. Rooms are beautiful with lovely clean bathrooms. Access to beach is the highlight! We swam every morning before the beach got crowded.
Hospitality was awesome. Staff were very cordial and friendly.
Waiting to go back again soon :)
Just go there if you need a quiet place to crash with your friends and near Baga, Simple.
Stayed there for two nights - on a family member's recommendation. But did not find it all that for the price we paid.
Pool side rooms are good. Noisy but good/cleaner.
Went there in October when there was a non-peak season - however the owner still charged full price 5000 Per night for one room.
Would definitely try other places before going to this place again.
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner - all we had to take care. Although the good thing is the owner allowed us to get outside food/alcohol - sometimes that works the best for families.
"Beach rooms are bigger and have an outside sitting set up. Pool view rooms are just ok. However, the price difference in both is marginal."Read full review
"Check for the back side of the room, you may want to have a room which gets sea breeze."Read full review
