Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
First Trip post lockdown, it was perfect with a comfortable stay.
The Positives: Hotel Calangute Towers met all expectation. Staff was friendly, professional and always ready to assist. Hotel is centrally located and at a walkable distance from main market and beach. Although hotel is located near market, yet the stay is peaceful with no roadside sound. Rooms are clean, hygienic and spacious. Limited option for buffet Breakfast, however sufficient and worth the taste to start a day. Hotel restaurant has their predefined timetable, hence we could not try their food. Every time we returned from sightseeing, the restaurant used to be closed. However, being centrally located, we were able to explore most of the restaurants, Beach shacks, and joints nearby. Local beer and different cuisine made each day pleasurable. Due to Govt law the pool was non functional however it was still well maintained and always tempted us to dive once, while we used to pass by.
The Negatives: Passage of the building was more often dark, hence attracted lot of mosquitoes. Only on request or during late evening bulbs were lit. Bathrooms are to be checked properly. On various occasions, unavailability of hot water was a concern. During our stay, we had a mishap of overhead shower collapsing while being used. Though it was a lucky escape with no injury, yet, we advise the management to recheck rooms/bathrooms before allotting. Our experience could have been a disaster. Travelling to other locations with no vehicle in hand is a concern. Though there are agents standing right outside the hotel to render rented car and bikes, they do not appreciate negotiations and participate in unhealthy manner of arguments.
A special thanks to Mr. Arindam B. for his extended support in making our stay much pleasant. He was courteous enough to recommend places to visit basis our interest. His attitude towards providing personal attention to each guest is noticeable and well appreciated by all. We sincerely hope to revisit Goa and stay here.

i really love that welcome drink. The staff is humble and helpful . Nice food both breakfast and diner. i was there on 11th January 2021, it was amazing experience. The location of Hotel Calangute Towers is near to market and almost walking distance from Calangute beach.

Our stay at the restaurant was enjoyable overall, but there were a few issues that affected our experience:
Positives:
The check-in process was quite smooth. We arrived 3 hours early, and the staff was kind enough to accommodate us and provide the room without any hassle. The location is excellent; the hotel is very close to Calangute Beach, just about 1.2 km away, making it convenient to enjoy the beach whenever we wanted. The swimming pool was the highlight of our stay—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a fun time. We truly had a blast there. The reception staff was generally friendly and always greeted us with a smile, which was a pleasant touch. The restaurant itself was great, with delicious food and attentive service. Special thanks to Prakash Sir, who welcomed us with a smile every time, making our dining experience even better. The restaurant staff was courteous and helpful, though there was a minor hiccup when dosa was served without chutney.
Areas for Improvement:
Air Conditioning Issue: We had to change our room because the AC stopped working. Our original room had a beautiful swimming pool view, but the new room’s view was not worth the money, which was disappointing. Unprofessional Conduct: When we checked in, the staff members who showed us the room carried their shoes inside, which is highly unprofessional. I’ve never seen staff carry shoes into a guest room, and the same happened whenever cleaning was done. Bathroom Jet Spray: The jet spray in the bathroom made a loud noise when pressed softly, which was quite disruptive. Noisy Beds: The beds creaked loudly whenever we changed sleeping positions, disturbing our sleep significantly. Reception Experience: While the reception staff was mostly friendly, there was one incident that felt unnecessary. I was informed not to have outside food near the pool by the manager, which I accepted. However, later, when I approached the reception with a query, a staff member—who appeared to be from the North East—reiterated the same message in a rather blunt manner and without a smile. Once the information is communicated, there’s no need for the staff to repeat it, especially in a less courteous tone.
Overall, the stay was good, but these issues affected our experience, hence the 3-star rating. With a few improvements, it could have been perfect.

My stay at the hotel was very good and all thanks to Mr Arindam Banerjee. He took care of all our needs and made sure our stay at the hotel was very convenient and all our needs taken care of. We have chose this hotel second time.but at this time experience is very bad because hotel service is not good & room TV is not working properly & they has recharge our room's Tata sky only for 2 days & on 1st Feb 2022 recharge is expired & door lock is not functioning properly. We have order Tea in the morning & order came after half hour.We have to wait outside the room very long time due to door is lock.breakfast & dinner items are fixed & repeating alternate day.All rooms are vacant.Rates are high.We have paid Rs 10500/- for 3 nights.Food is already kept in Freeze & which is serve to us at the breakfast time. We have check in on Sunday 30th Jan & on Monday in breakfast items are Medu wada & chutney & same that chutney was serve to us on Wednesday 2nd Feb 2022 with idely. So my suggestion to others that they should choose another hotel at calangute & not to choose hotel Calangute tower.

so this is to say that hotel was just next level like it was beyond expectation . it was none other than a 5 star hotel . pool was very clean and fresh water always a person to help you out for towels . we got some welcome drink and a bottle of wine for refreshment . Room was so so clean wd gud fragrence . clean best sheet and 24*7 staff from reception to housekeeping very fast .Best for family and couples and . even some rooms hv best view with balcony . Room includes evrry from soap to tooth brush and paste . all though it was ever best expirence . well trained Staff with all time gromed . provided with complimentary break fast

Our family stay was excellent in this property which is 800 m far from Calangute beach and in the main market area. We took premium room for three of us (all adults), it was a pool facing with balcony spacious and bright room. The breakfast was complimentary, simple buffet but a tasty one, enough to fill your stomach with all the nutrition. The staff was polite and well behaved. Our return travel was in the evening so the hotel even did allow us to extend our check-out as there was no guest booked for that day. Since the hotel was in the main market area so it was easy to roam around within that place. KUDOS to the hotel staff for their hospitality. I recommend this hotel.

Had a great experience here .We booked a premium room for our stay, it was very neat and clean, very comfortable room with decent space. We stayed for 4 days, everyday our room would get cleaned and they will refill all the items. Staffs are co-operative and helpful. We opted for breakfast also , they have multiple options in breakfast everyday. Swimming pool was also clean, we can enjoy with family and kids also. I highly recommend the stay.

We stayed in Calangute towers for 5 days, location is good, you will get everything easily here, all food outlets like KFC and subway is walkable from this place. Restaurant near this place is 24 hours operational. You will get food at morning 4 am also. Buffet breakfast was bad, food wasn’t fresh at all. They have very limited options. Room service was good. Rooms were ok. We had early flight from Hyderabad so we reached this property at 9:30 am, I wasn’t feeling well. I requested to Front Manager to give early check-in but she refused. Although I peaked upstairs and I saw rooms were ready to occupy. My husband requested her several times then she said ok I’ll see. We were waited in pool area for 5 hours but she has given room at 2 pm only. Our whole day was wasted because I fell ill. On the day of check out we asked for 1 hour extension because my husband had a work call, she denied and spoke very badly. So if you are booking this place while Working, Think twice

Yes I was bit upset when this review came in. As far as early check in is concerned our standard check in time is 14.00 hrs but we had provided you room at around 13.00 hrs and not 14.00 hrs as you mentioned. Also we would like to remind you that you had check out at around 12.30 hrs and not 11.00 am. One of our highest priorities is the health, safety, and security of our guests, team members, and business partners. COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the way we live, and we are adjusting our daily operations to fit within the new normal. In response to this, we reviewed our existing health and safety processes and developed a new safety protocol. This in-depth cleanliness and disinfection protocol was created and is designed to ensure your safety and peace of mind from check-in to check-out. You have been provided all amenities and facilities included in your package. In fact we also accommodated few of your so many request “Free” of cost, which you should appreciate. Instead only because we could not give you room on arrival as we took extra efforts to sanitize your room and managed to give your room before our standard check in time thinking of your health & safety , the hotel and its services became "WORST". It was OK - buffet breakfast but we were very disappointed with the number of flies around the breakfast placFood had a mix of Indian and continental - limited though but not bad.

If it's only you and your wife...and you don't want to party and go to crowded places..then stay at any place in South Goa..and not Maangte which is North Goa. The Dabslim airport and the main train station i.e. Madgaon is in the South of Goa. Go to Palolem and stay in a shack. That is the right way to enjoy Goa.
Most people prefer Activas to travel around which should be around Rs.250.00 to Rs.400.00. You get a wide variety of bikes and the most expensive ones like the Bullet and the Duke200 are available for around Rs.600-900 maximum.
This Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Calangute Market which is on the road that least the beach(avoid Maangte Beach if you have ever been to Juhu Beach during Chhat Puja or Ganesh Chaturdashi. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk from here.
If staying at Calangute Towers...stay in the new wing with the lift.
The cost of this room would be around Rs.3,500.00 to Rs.4,000.00 per room on twin sharing.
Dont hire a car...instead spend that money on a good brand of sun screen and rent a bike. Feel the wind in your hair.
Calangute is an extremely crowded beach and the entire area around it ia extremely commercial....you will get everything within a 10 minutes walk from your hotel. For water sports you will have to fo to other beachesime Baga or Anjana in the North or Palolem in the extreme South(my favorite) or Colva in the South in between.
If you take my advice and stay in the South.....do visit Agonda Beach and Cola Beach (amazing location where a small river touches the beach....superb location) Try Blue Lagoon Resort at Cola Beach. Drive/ride northwards towards Colva and enjoy the beaches in the South.....uptill Colva.....
All premium 5 star properties are on this stretch.
I suggest avoid the Northern stretch of Goa from Chapora till Fort Aguada. You will feel like you are in Mumbai....mainly because of the crowd. Go South or go to the beaches North of Chapora.
Goa is an amazing place and I am sure you will enjoy Goa to the fullest.
This Hotel is equipped with elevator, ac rooms, swimming pool, poolside bar, and location advantage. For group like your its good to go for MAP deal breakfast & dinner. For your convenient date you can book in advance.
There are more places to choose from in the Calangute area.
