This hotel is very basic.they just have one bathroom one bed with masquito net nd one fridge thats all..its not clean and also very dirty.not at all maintained properly.shops are also not there nearby.not worth of price you pay.please check room quality before paying price.
its nothing luxurious. just a bungalow with clean bed and mosquito net over the bed. The owner is a young man, very nice and friendly and give you good tips where to go. the beach is about 2 minutes to walk and even a very good restaurant is next to the place. they have community bathrooms but in several buildings. very nice to stay if your budget is not so high. you even can get better prices if you book there and stay a little longer time. for "smokers" its no Problem to get there what you want. Also you can rent scooters for about 300 Indian rupiees the whole day. you should see it. thats Goa!
After travelling from 6am to arrive to at 4pm, the host then made us wait 30 mins before turning up. He then told us he had "electrical problem" so we couldn't have the room (everything else around us seemed working perfectly). He also let slip he was hoping for some no shows, so it felt like he had gambled with over booking and we were the ones who had to go elsewhere. In return he made a couple of courtesy calls to friends to see if they have rooms. One of which we looked at but ended up trekking round to find something appropriate ourselves. To be clear the host at reception was always polite and friendly, and while we waited for him to turn up we had some food from the restaurant there which was very tasty. I have to give this a poor rating as for my experience making an online booking has proved to be unreliable, only cancelled when we finally arrive and that's the last thing you want after travelling all day. …
BEWARE OF ANDRES LISTA, AN ARGENTENIAN NATIONAL, who is a absolute scamster and all out to cheat hoteliers. He will book a room in your hotel with another female, also Aregentenian, for just one day and the make allegations that his bags are missing. He will demand huge compensation, refund of room tariff, though he has totally enjoyed his stay, he will try and extort money from the innocent hotelier. He tried this with us, but did not succeed, as we stood firm. He threatened us with bad reviews, and that he would malign our good image if we did not cough up his monetary demand, and yet we stood firm and told him to go right ahead. I sincerely advise my fellow hoteliers to think twice before accommodating him in your esteemed organisations
Staying at the Woodstock Budget stay was the experience of a lifetime. The Ambiance and scenic gardens were truly breathtaking..the staff and the hospitality was par excellance. The food was mouth watering and with a touch of local class...on he whole...it was an exotic experience
