Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The resort is well located near the beach which is about 800 meters away. It was commissioned some 15 years ago and though it is well maintained its age shows. We stayed in a two bedroom unit. There were four of us - my friend, his wife, my wife and I. There is a drawing room with an attached bathroom. Both bedrooms are located on mezzanine floor with one bathroom between them. That is a bit inconvenient as we were expecting each bedroom to have its attached bathroom. Once one accepts this factor, the resort has lots to offer. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was excellent and cleanliness was very good. General Manager of the property (Allen Vegas) went out of his way and made sure that we were served a special dish on the last day which some of us wanted to taste! That was a nice gesture indeed! All in all a great experience notwithstanding some inconvenience due to odd location of the second bathroom!

We have recently returned from our first visit to The Karma Hotel and we cannot emphasise enough what a great time we had. The staff we’re extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Meals were optional and very competitively priced, as were the liquid refreshments. Occasionally a BBQ was offered which was good value.
We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment which was large and well furnished. All the apartments faced the swimming pool which had adequate sun beds and plenty of towels for our use.
The Karma is in a great position - 10 minutes from the beach with a few shops and restaurants within walking distance.
We look forward to returning there next year.

Visited with a friend who is a member of the Karma Group. The resort is well located in south Goa, and is close to the Benaulim beach, which is a 800m, 10 minute walk away. While there are many restaurants on the way to the beach, as well as on the waterfront, we found the resort restuarant food good. We have some lunches and dinners at the resort.
We were pleasantly surprised with the helpfulness of all the resort staff, very ably led by Mr. Allen Viegas, who went above and beyond. As an example, on the last day of our 4 night stay, the two ladies in our group really wanted to have "Bombil" (Bombay duck) fish for lunch. Very few restaurants in south Goa have this fish. The GM, Mr. Viegas was requested by me, and very thoughtfully, he arranged to procure the best quality large size fresh Bombil fish and had it served for lunch as a total surprise for the other 3 members of our group. They were thrilled that the GM took the trouble to procure this fish and had it served in the rawa fry dish to the delight of everyone. Thanks, Allen for making this arrangement at such short notice.
Ricky George at the resort Spa gave us an awesome foot press massage. He is excellent.
Would highly recommend this resort!

We are club Mahindra members and were offered a complimentary stay at the karma Benaulim during my Goa visit in Feb 2020. So we decided to avail the offer this year and planned a 4 night vacation at karma Benaulim.
To begin with the check in time is quite off, 4pm is too late! We got into our room at 5pm just 1 hour away from the sunset, tired and wanted to rest. Still pulled ourselves to the beach which is again 1.3 Kms away from the resort, that's quite a bit and had to take the car out (parking is another 300 mts away from the resort). There was no room to park my car near the reception, absolute circus when we arrived. The resort resembles a housing society, 4 storied buildings stacked so close of each other you can hear your neighbors on the phone :d. The rooms are quite tiny (we stayed in a 1BR), kitchenette is good, interiors are not even close to luxurious. The staff is very polite and soft spoken. Swimming pool and spa were closed, so no comments there.
The breakfast menu offered had very less variety, no sausages, no chicken, even the vegetarian menu was quite boring. Overall food 5/10. The tables we sat on were plastic, old and dirty. The egg counter was flooded and took 10 mins to get our omlettes. No water served on the table, no paper napkins. We missed the breakfast the next day and the breakfast at the shacks was way better. We ordered lunch one afternoon and the staff forgot to punch in our order! Did a follow up call after an hour to understand that our food was not being prepared. We expected it, lookin at the over f&b experience :d..
The pool side bar/cafe was nice. Food here was good, maybe because there was less rush. The hotel is definitely unable to handle a good load of tourists I'm sure, sad but true.
We were given a presentation in Feb 2020 showing all nice things about karma group and their chain of hotels and was offered a membership, frankly being a club Mahindra member the experience was very boring and mediocre. There was definitely nothing premium, luxurious or exciting about this place!

Recently we visited Karma Royal Benaulim and stayed there for one week. We were 2 couple, both couples Senior Citizen. The stay was enjoyable. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The resort was clean all around. Its location is close to beach. The atmosphere in the resort was friendly. The team headed by Mr. Allen, General Manager and Ms. Marisa Vaz , Front Office Manager were very courteous and helpful . Flip side is that for 2 bedroom apartments the bedrooms are on 2nd floor and living room is on 1st floor. Its difficult for many senior citizens to climb stairs many times in the day. They must have a lift/ escalator upto 1st floor. Catering needs improvement for tastes and quality. Except the above two points we had an Excellent stay at Royal Benaulim and we will certainly visit this resort again!

Karma Royal Palms has been a pleasure to visit every time . We had a one bedroom set that had a small kitchenette and could accommodate 4 adults. From the security to the housekeeping staff everyone is so friendly , smiling and courteous. Everyone makes u feel special and welcome. The close proximity to the beach and the shops is great. Raftar from security was super duper helpful and Taskin from housekeeping was super kind. Always smiling and ready to help. Thank u taskin for everything It’s because of wonder staff like this that u wanna go back.

It's a dream destination for all slated to visit South Goa. It's a beautiful property having a well planned layout. The resort staff is extremely smart and have tailored solution to the specific requirements of the guests staying in the resort. Even their regulations are completely inclined in favour of guests unlike many resorts which impose lot of restrictions. One would feel home while staying in this resort. Strongly recommended for a wonderful and enterprising stay.
And one of the housekeeping staff namely Bishnu needs a special mention here. I have not come across someone who is more dedicated and sincere towards their job than Bishnu. Always smiling she performs her job with clinical precision.

Very well maintained property, with polite and friendly staff. Big spacious villas parfact for family Holiday. Hotel kitchen is also excellent in following all kind of food request. Booked a two bedroom apartment. Really pleased with the apartment, Large living room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs . Two bed rooms and a bathroom upstairs. All excellent. Downstairs and immediately outside the apartments is a swimming pool, There's also a resident Restaurant and Spa. Nearby are several other independent restaurants and a few shops.Rooms cleaned everyday and beds changed/made-up.One big plus is the 24/7 reception. The staff cannot be more helpful and are willing to discuss any matter/information. In particular Marisa is particularly friendly and helpful and her colleague Aveline comes a close second. Thanks.

Generally early check is an issue, however since some guests either take an early flight or drive out soon after breakfast you could expect to get a room around. Resort is most obliging in terms of leaving the baggage with reception or baggage holding area.
Work is going on... It is expected to be over by this month end...
However, Rooms are very good and you will enjoy your stay like your previous trip...
There are more places to choose from in the Benaulim area.
