There is a mix of reviews, because the place is not for everybody.. Each of us have their priority, but the standard of management should be first and second >cleanliness < and maintenance; Those 2 are missing. The first thing you see when you arrive is the entry. Coming to the gate you basically walk in a dump. They even don't have the decency to pick the garbage. HEY BOSS! DOESN'T COST ANYTHING, the staff is not busy all the time. For me that first image tells me ...NOT recommended
We originally booked here for three nights but it turned out to be such a good place we stayed for eight nights! There were many staying here that said it was the best in Beneulim and we are inclined to agree. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms, a great pool and a super restaurant attached. We will stay here again.
This is the second time we've stayed here, first was 2 years ago. Booked with Expedia this time assuming breakfast was included. Nothing on their website stating breakfast was included but as before assumed it was included. Ordinarily on booking sites it very clear whether breakfast is included or its pay at property etc. On the morning when we checked out we were told that we had to pay for breakfast and Expedia don't include breakfast. Seems bizarre considering that the price through other online booking agents is roughly the same. We noticed that on other websites nothing is said about breakfast. This leads me to believe they are trying to fleece guests for extra cash by charging for breakfast knowing they have a get out clause in that they don't confirm anything when booking. The fridge in the room was filthy there was an ant infestation in the bathroom and I had to kill a couple of cockroaches in the room. The remote control for the TV was missing working batteries. Staff were just plain obnoxious. Spend extra and go elsewhere if you value your stay.…
The 3-storey hotel. We lived on the 3rd floor. The room was very large with a large bathroom and balcony. On the other hand, the room was rather shabby with insufficient number of lamps. There was an air conditioneer and a fan. If there were problems with tension the air conditioning was out, but the fan worked. The fridge was old and dirty. There was almost no insects. The Internet was rather unstable both at the reception and in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach is 10 minutes from the hotel. The area was clean, quite tidy, well lit at night/ Nearby, there are a lot of cafes and restaurants, as well as jewelry stores. On the opposite side of the beach, there was a collapse with fruit.
We stayed here after travelling India for a month and loved the idea of relaxing by the pool but to our amazement the pool was 'under maintenance' but whilst we stayed there not a single person went to look at this. When we arrived at the hotel the member of the staff sat there with earphones in taking a personal call. We then got the wifi password to which we then found it didn't reach or work in our room. The room was dirty and had newspaper shoved into holes in the walls. It's safe to say we spent one night there before finding alternative accommodation. When we brought the issues up with the staff we got laughed at, so rude. I would highly recommend avoiding this place like the plague!!
