We have stayed with Domnick a couple of times now, he is the owner and looks after the place very well including doting on the gardens. He has always been there with his friendly smiling face to help out with any issues or requests. PSS is a simple place, only 7 rooms (I think) in a remote block, all the basics are there, wifi works and there's hot water, the rooms are cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels, so beats most of the other places we've stayed at in Goa already! It's off the beaten track but only 5 mins walk through palm trees from the bars/restaurants on the 'main' road, passing chickens and pigs en-route (and the odd water buffalo)! Looking forward to our next visit Domnick!!

We stayed 3 nights in Palm Shades Spring & it was great. The location is just perfect, overlooking a lagoon filled with hyacinths, & buffalo cruise through at a calming pace morning & evening.
It's a good birding spot too.
The property is very well kept & clean. And has a great pool.
The walk to the main shopping strip takes 10 mins, down a quaint village lane. Try Brilliant restaurant, we ate there everyday, food was delicious & staff very friendly & efficient.
All in all would highly recommend this spot, thank you to Domnick & his team, you have a lovely spot there.

Myself and my partner had a brilliant stay in Palm Shade Spring! Domnick was our host and he was extremely helpful with any questions or concerns we had! The place is very clean, spacious and calming! It was a great location, without cycle distance of benaulim and colva beach! The pool area was so lovely and peaceful! Always had hot water and WiFi! Would definitely recommend to a friend! Only issue was aircon was broken one night by Domnick had it fixed the next day!

We spent 6 days here and what a find, beautiful setting and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Basic but had everything we needed. The rooms were cleaned everyday and towels changed every other. Dominick was so helpful. He organised taxis to and from the airport. We will definitely be back. Don’t hesitate to book you won’t be disappointed

I enjoyed my 4 nights stay. It has pool, kitchen and bike rental service. Only 2 things you will not like are AC and bed sheets. Otherwise, it is a great choice for a low-budget and peaceful and comfortable stay. I definitely recommend it. Manjit

We can’t say enough nice things about this place. The owner and host (Dominik) was very helpful and always had a smile and a few words.
On our arrival at Goa airport, we got a pre-paid taxi from the airport (pre-paid booth just before the exit doors on your right, it was a bit of a queue and a strange system - you get a chitty telling you how much it is (980r) and then you go outside and pay!). Dominik said to give the taxi driver the number and it all worked well – about 40 mins later we were there. Dominic arranged the taxi back for a similar price.
During most of our stay, my wife was ill with bacterial bronchitis that she’d had diagnosed as asthma by her GP before our trip(!), so not ideal. We made it through Mumbai, but on our second day in Goa she urgently needed to see a doctor, Dominik sorted this for us and a tuktuk arrived to take us to the doctor 2 streets away. The doctor was very professional and very cheap (around £4 for a consultation!). On another occasion I received a text prescription from the doctor for my wife, it was late and Dominik said the pharmacy in the village would still be open and promptly took me there on the back of his scooter!! …..although the pharmacy is next door to the main supermarket and coffee shop at the crossroads and probably only 10 mins walk, it was still a very nice thing to do.
The location is brilliant, over the busy crossroads in Benaulim, pass all the restaurants on the main street then right down a side street (signposted from the main road and turn left before you get to the bottom (again, signposted) – nowhere near as difficult to find as a number of reviews suggest) and backing on to fields so not overlooked from anywhere.
There are only about 9 rooms, ours was on the middle (first) floor and had everything we needed for our stay. This was useful as we spent quite a bit longer at the accommodation than we would normally wish to. We almost certainly used it for more self-catering than it would have been designed for, although there is an electric hob and pots and pans etc. to enable you to self-cater if you wish – although we preferred to get out to the many and varied eateries only 5-10 mins walk away on the ‘main’ street – all unbelievably reasonably priced and with excellent tasty Goan food available. There were numerous restaurants, including Pizza and Chinese (if you can drag yourself away from the wonderful curries) think we could have ate in a different one every night for a month, and all within easy walk!
We had a nice balcony where you can sit and watch the kingfishers, the Egrits, the Indian eagles and the conflagration of crows that visited the local stream every day just before dusk – was something you’d expect to see on a David Attenborough programme – not forgetting the water buffalo in the paddy fields!
The beach is very nice and safe, although look out for the water buffalo, they are everywhere!! Beach beds & parasols are free as long as you purchase something from the shacks even if it’s only a bottle of water (although again, everything was very reasonably priced).
We found tuktuks everywhere and always paid 100r within Benaulim (although you can easily walk everywhere – the beach is the longest walk, but pleasant enough and only about 15 mins to walk from the crossroads (turn left!) - I’m sure you could negotiate with the tuktuks but it’s only £1!
Benaulim is a lot more vibrant than I was expecting, the main street was full of restaurants and shops (all Goan style and all very good value). I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t too quiet. Although if you’re looking for loud music or draught beer etc. then this isn’t the place for you – although with large bottles of Kingfisher available everywhere for 70p (£1 in most restaurants) I could forgo the real ale for a week!
Dominik took payment in English pounds or euros or Rupees so very flexible. There were a number of ATMs in Benaulim, nearest are about 15 mins walk, only give you 10,000r at a visit, but it lasts quite a long time in the village. Suggest you google ATMs in Benaulim, shows clearly where they are.
Lastly (but not leastly!) a mention for the cleaners who were excellent and worked very hard, they cleaned every day and managed all our requests efficiently and with a smile.
We’re looking forward to our next visit to Goa where we will definitely re-visit Dominik and his haven and hope to see a bit more of the environs next time. Thank you so much for your help and for such a relaxing time – I’m sure I’ll get more use out of the poolside hammock next time!!

From the pick up from the airport, and nine nights of peace and quiet, this accommodation is the nicest we have ever stayed in.
We’ve been visiting Goa most years for the last fifteen years, shacks, apartments and five star hotels, but this is the place we’ve felt most at home.
Well done Domnic and his very friendly and efficient small team.

Spent a month here & thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartments are ideally situated at the end of palm trees lined path & was extremely quiet but within just a few minutes walk to the main road where there are lots of restaurants to choose from. The beach is approx 10 minutes walk away. The rooms are spacious with an enormous very comfortable bed and the kitchenette has the basic utensils needed to cater for yourselves. The whole apartment block was spotlessly clean & the young couple who looked after it were very pleasant. Dominic, the owner takes great pride in ensuring his guests enjoy their stay. Have been to Goa many, many times & this accommodation is the best we have stayed in.

Love this hidden gem, Domonic the owner and his staff do a fantastic job to make your holiday one to remember.
Nothing is to much trouble for him and I’m sure he would help you if it was in his Poe were to do so.
Iv heard lots of stories where he as gone out of his way to help his guests and he’s a real nice guy.
If you like photography there’s lots of opportunities right on the doorstep.
Would I revisit!
Of course we’re going back in November and again in March and will be meeting up with the regulars who like us are now hooked.

No there isn't an ATM near the apartments, but there is a bank in Benaulim & is about 20 minute walk. There are two money exchange places at the crossroads of the Main Street, 10 minute walk from the apartments.
