We do understand and appreciate the hard work and dedication that that goes into planning from both the Back of house and Front of the house teams. The level of attentiveness and professionalism exhibited by your staff was truly commendable. They made sure that every aspect of our stay was met with utmost care and attention to detail.
I was also particularly impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of our rooms with small soft touches added that made the difference.
The dining experience at the restaurants was truly outstanding. The diverse menu options, along with the exquisite presentation and taste of each dish, left me with a sense of satisfaction and delight. The attentive staff, always ready with a smile, added to the overall pleasant dining experience and again that does make the difference.
I have also put in my comments on Trip advisor as I know that means a lot and we will certainly be ambassadors for your property through our networks in India.

We always enjoy staying at a JW Marriott. The JW Goa didn’t disappoint. In fact, it outstripped any other JW we’ve stayed at worldwide. Hands down.
From a few days before our arrival when we received a personalized welcome email and service questionnaire until we left several days later, our entire stay was exceptional.
We were greeted by one of the assistant managers, Prashant, who was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. He accompanied us to our room and showed us around.
This type of care and professionalism was pervasive throughout our entire stay. Another engaging and wise assistant manager (Sachidanada) spent time with us giving us insights into India and Indian culture that enriched our entire trip. The happy hour hosts and staff were great: Liza makes the best Long Island ice teas we’ve ever had and anticipates the guest’s needs such as having the chef come out and provide a specialty GF appetizer unavailable on the menu; Pratick is innovative and has a curious mind, scouting throughout the region for ingredients to create proprietary bitters and other cocktail ingredients (he should write a book).
Our housekeeping staff (Agnes and Priyanka) were good, fast, and unobtrusive and made sure we were stocked with all our needs.
The concierge, Steven d’Souza, arrange for our hotel transfers from the train station and to the airport. Plus, he set us up with a taxi driver and a specialized itinerary that checked off all the places we wanted to visit and experiences we sought.
The food at every turn was broad, varied, delicious, and plentiful. It didn’t get routine during the five days of our stay. The breakfast buffet easily was 4-5 times the variety you typically find at other hotels of this status.
Lastly, but importantly, the grounds themselves were impeccable. After a couple days, we realized that this JW was constructed on a very small footprint. Although it’s a new property, they retained the old trees and adroitly designed pathways, buildings, gardens, and open spaces to create a sense of a much bigger facility. Bravo to the design, building, and grounds maintenance staff.
In short, we would highly recommend this JW and would stay here again, perhaps longer next time

A most frequent goa traveller and have being stayed at all the 5star properties in Goa, had the same expectations from JWM. unfortunately nothing stood to expectation.
the staff is all new which is good, but they need rigorous training for hospitality and customer service. they seem to be lost and many a times have been seen chatting on phones rather then being attentive towards guest.
JW should realise this is not a resort nor a beach property and hence they will have to cover it up a lot with their 100% or more than that customer service. the guest are left on their own to figure out what needs to be done. they need to provide some complimentary yoga sessions, or cooking session etc to keep guest interested.
the front desk, concierge, in room service all seem to hear you but when it came to execution they were total thumbs down. i had to keep on reminding them for the same thing again and again.
the TV channels in the room never worked and inspite of informing the in room service nor once bothered to check and work on it. again being a non-resort property guest are glued to rooms mostly and hence atleast the TV channels should be working.
I had booked a suite and on the website it said suite with plunge pool, but to my surprise the plunge pool is a shared pool with other rooms which is so surprising, as never have i seen a suite with a plunge pool being shared, it is always been a private pool. the website has to clearly mention this rather then misguiding the guest, after paying 60K per night for a room if the suite does not offer a private pool the costing is very high for such a room, the suite itself was small, did not get a suite experience, i would recommend JW to visit Taj exotica or St regis or ITC and see their suites with private pool.
i would request if JW takes this review seriously and work on their service issues and overall management.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a well- mannered gentleman jitesh who being the host of resturant, ushered me to my reserved table, water and drinks menu was server by arkdeep on the table. He was a great entertainer and a great asset who suggested the best. which warmed my heart immediately!! . A pleasurable experience of dinning out is finding a good spot the cafe was exquisite and we enjoyed the intriguing interior decor. We were able to enjoy and experience the outstanding sundown view and the historical capora fort. Which elevated the mood and made the experience memorable. we explored a wide range of artfully prepared dishes. The service was courteous by shyl and rituraj. But most of all the eclectic range of tracks by dj kept the party going. Overall it was definitely a go back place

I had an exceptional experience at the J.W. Mariott! The service was top-notch, and our stay was truly enjoyable. Muskan, in particular, went above and beyond and always made sure everything is perfect. she was staying in constant contact with us to ensure our comfort. Everything was great at JW Marriott. I had booked the hotel for my husband’s birthday and we had such a lovely time. We got the cutest welcome cake apart from the birthday cake. The pool cafe, neon gaming room, the room itself, the food, everything was best in class and top notch. I really liked the fact the pool was open till 10 PM and we had a lovely sundowner one of the evenings. I cannot say enough good things about the staff itself (special mentions to Rabina and Anjali). We were able to take a printed photo back for our memories, which is all just a testament to how every detail is taken care of by the hotel management here. This is hard to describe how amazing our experience in this hotel was. We travel all over the world, but the service and staff in JW Marriot was the best we ever had! Everyone was really helpful and polite. The manager Shailesh helped us whatever we wanted, that was something I had never ecperienced. Food in Heliconia restaurant was really amazing. Hotel room was cleaned perfectly, they ask every morning what time is conviniet for us to clean the room. even when we had a problem with AC, the service came at 1:00am to solve it. Each day we got 6 new bottles of water in the room, which is not common thing in hotels. I do really recommend this amazing and beautiful place to everyone! You can see the pool view which was incredible!

We had a fantastic stay at the JW Marriott, Goa. There was a small hiccup with some aspects of the reservation not being noted on the system despite several emails confirming in advance. However this was swiftly resolved by Vijay & Rakhee who continued to offer excellent service throughout our stay. I chose this hotel because it is new (often property upkeep at 5 star hotels in India can be somewhat lacking sadly) and it is a beautifully designed space that is true to the photos online (thankfully no touched up publicity shots here!) The infinity pool is stunning and a great place to relax with a drink looking out over the greenery to the sea beyond. Although it is not by the beach, there is a complimentary shuttle. However the beach at Vagator itself isn’t amazing and I’m glad we didn’t book the W over the JW Marriott just for the beach (as we originally considered). My advice would in any case be to go further north to more secluded beaches for the day if that is your thing, then return to the luxury of the hotel. If possible, do try the buffet breakfast. The spread is like nothing I’ve ever seen before anywhere around the world. Just don’t plan on eating lunch! The food is all of a very high quality and the staff in the JW Kitchen were also fantastically attentive. One small suggestion though would be to try and introduce fresh milk rather than UHT milk for the lattes, flat whites etc. There’s a great Nespresso style machine in the rooms with complimentary pods for a quick espresso shot anyway. We also ate in the Heliconia restaurant for dinner one night which was a treat and is deservedly in the top 50 restaurants in India. The children enjoyed a visit to the Neon game zone in the basement. It’s a little pricey though for what it is (if anything more expensive than doing the same activities in London) but it was a fun distraction for an hour or so. Overall I can’t recommend the JW Marriott in Goa highly enough. It isn’t cheap but I’m glad we splashed out for the experience.
