I stayed here for a week whilst on a yoga retreat - beautiful yoga shalas, gorgeous massage available from experienced practitioners, friendly staff and surrounded by nature; flowers, dogs, trees and sunshine. The pool was an added bonus in the heat, the food was organic, local and yummy - not too spicy which was good for me. The rooms were basic but equipped with mosquito nets and a good bathroom with shower.
I spent a month here in October 2016 whilst taking my yoga teacher training. The resort is simply stunning, such a beautiful place with the friendliest, most helpful staff. The place is so well kept and looked after with real love and devotion. And the food is just divine, the best food I've ever had! I really can't think of anything negative to say, I would definitely come back!
Absolutely blown away by Satsanga Retreat!! Our entire stay was faultless. The food was phenomenal, very friendly staff and exceptionally clean. Location was brilliant, set back from the hustle and bustle but only a short taxi ride to the beach. Our bedroom and bathroom were both spacious, comfy beds and a fabulous view from the balcony where we could see exotic birds around the pool. We spend a whole month at satsanga, loved every second of it, made some amazing friends and hope to visit again soon!!! I can only describe satsanga as a little slice of paradise!
We came to Satsanga as group of yoga teacher trainers, assistants and students. We were welcomed with open arms by the fantastic retreat centre staff and made to feel completely at home. The yoga shalas are both stunning - the Shiva hall is open to the fresh air (with mozzie netting, of course!) and the Buddha hall is a magical roof top hall that looks out over the jungle. Both are well equipped and we had everything we needed for our training work. The bedrooms were fabulous - I particularly enjoyed the swing seats on the communal balcony outside my room! The place is kept absolutely spotless, with rooms thoroughly cleaned every day and beautiful flower displays set around the site. I loved the swimming pool which we swam in every day. As for the food...it was out of this…
