The four days I spent at Satsanga retreat were a unique, amazing and restoring experience. The beautiful natural surroundings of the rooms, the clear and mild water of the pool, the kind and welcoming hosts and cooking team, the delicious healthy food, as well as the possibility to consult some Ayurvedic therapists and take some yoga classes, turned my stay into a wonderful retreat.

I have just done a holiday yoga retreat here and I am so glad that I found this place. The retreat is situated closer within the village surroundings of Anjuna and so puts you closer in touch with nature. You will find a beautiful chorus of birds singing throughout the day. The retreat is well maintained with excellent facilities and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff mainly from the local village are so nice and helpful. The food was excellent and as the staff are local they provided us with authentic taste of Goan cuisine. My yoga teacher was excellent. I really felt my yoga technique improve and also provided me with a spiritual and educational experience. There are plenty of excursions being offered during the day and local friendly taxi drivers to assist with the travel. I would definitely like to come back here again. Thank you Emma and Olaf for a lovely experience :-)

I've been holding retreats and trainings at Satsanga since they opened. As retreats and trainings are a big part of my work I have spent time at many places in Europe and India over the years and I always return to Satsanga knowing that the service and standards will always be great as well as the environment Olaf and Emma have created. All of the staff there are attentive, helpful and friendly, plus both Olaf and Emma are genuinely concerned with all the guests needs as well as the teachers. Each year I return knowing that from picking up students at the airport, to the amazing buffet each day that everything will be taken care of. The Shala spaces are both beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. The pool is beautiful as well as the lush vegetation that has been cultivated within the grounds. Not too far from the fun and chaos of the Anjuna beach life, but in a peaceful, calm environment. I highly recommend this place for teachers booking retreats and trainings. You'll be looked after!!

My friend and I had recently organized a Yoga retreat at Satsanga and we were really touched by the quality of the place, the caring staff and the delicious and healthy food. The Yoga Shalas are beautiful and really well furnished and maintained. The surrounding brings also really good vibes to the practice. The place have a beautiful garden and a beautiful swimming pool. Also available, different types of Ayurvedic massages and consultations on site with holistic medicines professionals. I personally had one of the most amazing abhyanga massage and a really good workout with the physiotherapist called Nerhu. It's also a place which offers the opportunity to meet incredible and talented people. I highly recommend this sweet cocoon of peace, quietness and harmony.

I stayed here for a week on a yoga retreat. The resort was simply beautiful. The rooms were comfortable (and all equiped with mosquito nets), the pool and surrounding areas beautiful with lots of places to read a book/relax and the food, all vegetarian and made freshly inhouse by wonderful staff, was amazing. The yoga shalas were great spaces with good energy and the vibe of the whole resort was so calm and rejuvenating. It's run by Olaf and Emma, ably assisted by a wonderful group of staff. Their presence really made this place feel like a home away from home

I stayed here for a week whilst on a yoga retreat - beautiful yoga shalas, gorgeous massage available from experienced practitioners, friendly staff and surrounded by nature; flowers, dogs, trees and sunshine. The pool was an added bonus in the heat, the food was organic, local and yummy - not too spicy which was good for me. The rooms were basic but equipped with mosquito nets and a good bathroom with shower.

I spent a month here in October 2016 whilst taking my yoga teacher training. The resort is simply stunning, such a beautiful place with the friendliest, most helpful staff. The place is so well kept and looked after with real love and devotion. And the food is just divine, the best food I've ever had! I really can't think of anything negative to say, I would definitely come back!

Absolutely blown away by Satsanga Retreat!! Our entire stay was faultless. The food was phenomenal, very friendly staff and exceptionally clean. Location was brilliant, set back from the hustle and bustle but only a short taxi ride to the beach. Our bedroom and bathroom were both spacious, comfy beds and a fabulous view from the balcony where we could see exotic birds around the pool. We spend a whole month at satsanga, loved every second of it, made some amazing friends and hope to visit again soon!!! I can only describe satsanga as a little slice of paradise!

We came to Satsanga as group of yoga teacher trainers, assistants and students. We were welcomed with open arms by the fantastic retreat centre staff and made to feel completely at home. The yoga shalas are both stunning - the Shiva hall is open to the fresh air (with mozzie netting, of course!) and the Buddha hall is a magical roof top hall that looks out over the jungle. Both are well equipped and we had everything we needed for our training work. The bedrooms were fabulous - I particularly enjoyed the swing seats on the communal balcony outside my room! The place is kept absolutely spotless, with rooms thoroughly cleaned every day and beautiful flower displays set around the site. I loved the swimming pool which we swam in every day. As for the food...it was out of this world. Every meal was a delight - from the fresh fruit at breakfast to the gorgeous and endlessly inventive lunches to the amazing, healthy and delicious dinners. We'd love Kalpana to write a recipe book! Have tried to recreate the rice pudding at home but it just isn't the same! None of us wanted to leave by the end. This was partly testimony to the way our group had bonded, but this process was definitely accelerated by the way we were looked after and made to feel so cared for at Satsanga. I would definitely recommend this centre.
