What a wonderful old colonial former home, now hotel. Beautiful property furnished with antiquities and old charm. Four poster beds and great service. Breakfast and kitchen on site, laundry service and a great pool with sun loungers. Worth a visit!!
We booked two rooms for Jan end. Rooms are small and not clean. Pool is small and service is pathetic. No Parking space. Location of hotel is fine and there is no room service. Windows are bathrooms are poor and need serious improvement.
This is going to be long. So ill mention the pros and cons first before delving into details. Pros : Running hot water , pool ,location, owner lady Cons : Staff ,Everything about the Rooms , Cleanliness , Voltage fluctuations,No storage space Now the details : All we (a group of 5) wanted for our three night long stay at Anjuna was a couple of clean rooms . Our problems began the moment we set foot into the building. We had already talked on the phone regarding an extra bed and had confirmed that it cost 500 rupees for a night. But the lad at the reception who barely speaks engligh and Hindi now says its 1000 rupees. Double the price!! When we did not agree to this the lady owner noticed the ruckus and came along and confirmed that it was indeed 500 rupees. So what if she hadn't…
A old Portuguese bungalow as the name suggests...not so close to beach or not so close to town.......There was no parking at the property campus , but had to park only outside............Very poor response from staff except for very few.....I do not think there are any staff here who are trained or have any idea about hospitality...they are just servants working for the owner...........Its a very average place to stay ......especially in goa when you have no other go ........there is absolutely nothing which will encourage you here to even try partying.....
Property is Good but big disappointment by staff's behaviour. We had booked it for 4 days but on the very first day started feeling like we are at wrong place. Anything you ask for and you get negative reply from the staff. Then the Manager or Owner (don't know exactly) lady came to rescue us from the situation and due to her orders their staff started to work in a order but still was not happy with them and dint feel like to go every time and complain to the Saviour Lady as she was not well and was going under medical treatment.
