Tha westin Goa garners a blend of feedback, with guests praising its vibrant atmosphere, complete with thematic decor, although a few find the music overwhelming. The prime location near beaches is well-regarded, despite a rough approach.
Especially thanks for Dewaker and Manoj .tufan. devoty. Daphy

While opinions on value and service vary, with some citing reasonable prices and friendly staff and others pointing to inconsistencies, the cleanliness of the pool and rooms is often commended. However, the hotel's amenities and rooms, though spacious, are noted by some as needing maintenance and updates.

The Westin Goa receives high marks for its impeccably clean rooms and facilities, with the housekeeping staff earning accolades for their thoroughness.

The hotel's ambiance is lively and inviting. The junior suite was very spacious and well appointed, and the Hotels central location is a hit for its convenience to local attractions, despite the beach not being within walking distance.

Ms. Bhavana Rai, the Resort Experience Manager, was there to cater to our every requirement, and was very helpful and constantly cheerful. Thank you Bhavana.

Looking forward to returning to the Westin soon.

We stayed at this hotel in November 2024 for 7 days, from check in to check out everyone at the hotel made sure that our stay was special. The staff was always polite and extremely helpful and a big shout out especially to Dianne and Yash who always assisted with any queries that we had and made sure that anything we required was available quickly.
The breakfast was vast and there were great options available. We loved the rooms, the beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms had a bathtub and separate large shower cubicle.
There was always music playing in the lobby which gave it a welcoming relaxed vibe.
Highly recommend this hotel to all who are thinking of staying in the Anjuna area, we loved it so much that we have planned to go back in December 2025.

I recently stayed at The Westin Goa from November 3rd to November 7th with high expectations, but my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite paying over INR 25,000 per night, the level of service and hygiene I encountered was far below what I would expect from a 5-star Marriott property.

From day one, my room (2025) had a malfunctioning door lock, forcing me to repeatedly visit the reception to have my key card reactivated. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, the front desk staff were dismissive and acted as if I was inconveniencing them. Only on the fourth day, after finding a technician nearby, was it confirmed that the lock needed a lengthy repair – an issue that could have been resolved much sooner with a bit of care and attention.

On the same day, I found a cockroach in my bathroom. For a premium hotel, encountering such hygiene issues is both shocking and unacceptable. While I reported this to the reception and an executive officer, the only response was a vague assurance of pest control.

The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. I had to wait 20-25 minutes each morning for a seat, only to find the same limited menu every day, without any variety. This isn’t what one would expect from a high-end property.

As a Bonvoy member, I’m deeply disappointed. The lack of attention to basic service, cleanliness, and guest comfort was appalling. I expected a much higher standard from Marriott, and this experience has seriously made me question my loyalty to the brand.

For anyone considering a stay at The Westin Goa, be cautious – unfortunately, it’s not living up to the Marriott reputation.

From the moment we arrived at Westin Goa, the service has been nothing short of extraordinary. A special shout-out to Dipen from the concierge team, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless.

One of our bags was delayed at Delhi airport before our arrival in Goa, and Dipen’s assurance and efficiency immediately put us at ease. He promised to have the luggage delivered to our room by the end of the day, and true to his word, it was there by 7 PM. His commitment and attention to detail are commendable.

Not just that, Dipen’s recommendations for cafes and activities around Goa were spot on, especially since we were traveling with a baby. He ensured we visited places with a comfortable atmosphere, suitable for a family with a little one, and his arrangements made every outing special.

The hotel itself offers a fantastic high tea happy hour from 5 to 7 PM, featuring a wide array of unlimited snacks and drinks. The staff’s enthusiasm and willingness to serve made us feel like royalty.

A special mention to Mrinl at The Market restaurant, who made every meal a delightful experience with his exceptional service.

As Bonvoy members, we’ve had the pleasure of staying at several Marriott properties, but Westin Goa stands out as the best in terms of service and overall experience. We are leaving with hearts full of gratitude and memories to cherish.

Thank you, Westin Goa, for making our stay unforgettable!

We recently had the chance to stay at Westin Goa and it was the best decision of our trip. This was the first trip with our 4 months old baby, and the stay was an important aspect, and I can now definitely say that we did not make a mistake while picking Westin.
The staff was extremely warm and courteous in taking care of our needs, our baby had not started solids then, but they offered to make fruit purées for her. One of the staff (Usha) was so helpful and friendly with our kid, she even came outside to see us off when we were leaving.
One night we weren’t that hungry but wanted to try deserts, and the menu did not have many options, the buffet was still open then, we asked Ranjana, if it’d be okay if we can pick 1-2 items from there, she agreed without any hesitation and did not charge us anything for that.
Bibek, Vaibhav and Prem took extra care in serving delectable meals in no time.
The food was just amazing, they have never-ending variety of finger licking food, and the buffet is just a big party. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how hungry you are, you can not eat everything.
I would also suggest staying on a Sunday, the Sunday brunch is too good and you can enjoy it with a live band performance. There is also an in-house DJ and pool party open for all who are staying on a Sunday.
We stayed in the suite, it has a powder washroom, which was our priority since we wanted to keep the diaper changing area away from the regular washroom.
All in all it was a 10/10 stay and I would definitely recommend staying at the westin.

Amazing world class breakfast . This is no doubt the best I have ever had .

Amazing staff who work like magicians to get you whatever you want

Special mentions for Chef Arpita and Prem steward

The housekeeping staff is amazing and really friendly
Really clean rooms only suggestion is they should have bins in toilets to dispose the toilet roll .

The staff of this hotel is the highlight.
Goa is a tourist place and the expectation from hospitality provided by other hotels is not much. However with Westin this is an exception. The staff will treat every customer as a celebrity.
Loved it and I am definitely coming here again
Good luck

Westin Goa’s hospitality stands out among all the hotels I’ve visited. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. Their hospitality is truly genuine and exemplary.

I was there for a Marriott South Asia Engineering conference on Sustainability, but with family.

Our four year old daughter was pampered by all the staff. She absolutely loved the Hotel and the employees.

Right from the reception staff, restaurant staff, our personal butler, to the ladies in the kids daycare, everyone was warm and genuinely keen on making our stay as comfortable as possible.

Would like to specially acknowledge Ibalina, who receives guests, Teresa in the daycare, and Prem, who took excellent care of our daughter. Also props to the Duty Manager who we called when we were out and needed a ride to a different location. I just Whatsapped our location and he immediately arranged for a car.

Rooms have amazing views, are clean, modern and comfortable.

The buffets are great with a wide array of cuisines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The hotel cars are clean and comfortable, and the drivers professional and courteous.

Westin Goa is also committed to energy and water sustainability and has invested well in treatment, recycle, and reuse of wastewater. They have a great, professional Engineering team, who work hard behind the scenes to make sure the guests are comfortable and the facility is being run in a sustainable manner. I learned about this first hand when attending the Marriott South Asia Sustainability Conference here.

This hotel is a shining example of Marriott South Asia’s top-class Hospitality.

My fiance and I booked this hotel for a lowkey New Years retreat, but only after booking did we see that there was a mandatory charge for a massive Heineken Takeover event that was happening with 5 straight days of non stop (literally non stop) house music playing in the lobby and in a ballroom. We tried to cancel weeks in advance but we weren't allowed to, despite the fact that we booked on a platform that had no indication of this event happening.

The event itself was extremely poorly managed. There were influencers running around posing for pictures, headache inducing music playing with a DJ in the Lobby entrance, and guests running through the halls and yelling late into the night. The staff hated it as well, since they have to be in the lobby at all times, and they sympathized. Additionally, despite the fact that we were staying there, we had to deal with extremely rude bouncers and security staff that aggresively frisked us as we tried to enter the hotel, as they were hired for the event and a lot of non resident guests were attending as well and had full access to all hotel facilities.

The best part however, was Sagar. He was a guest relations exec I believe, and single handedly saved our vacation. He moved us into a room at the far end of the hotel to be away from the noise, helped us book cabs and make restaurant reservations, and ensured we had everything we needed to make the trip enjoyable. This would have been a 1-2 star review if not for Sagar's efforts, and that of the Food and Beverage team that comped a spa treatment for us because of the hassle we endured till then.

Overall, decent hotel, outstanding service, solid food, but the management really needs to get their act together before committing to Marketing stunts like the Heineken Takeover because paying guests and staff absolutely hated it.
