I never give a review untill it's the worst place. Staff not at all friendly. When asked for tea they say it's finished. When asked for food, no salt, no sugar and no preference asked. The care taker makes faces and back answers whenever we need anything. Do not take Scotty on rent from them, your trip will be spoilt. AC doesn't work. No towels in the room. No soaps. We stayed for 3 days, no cleaning service. Stray dogs and cats roam around in balcony. Only one thing was good hot water in shower.

This is a great budget place to stay around Anjuna, also very accessible from all the popular eateries and the Anjuna beach, everything is a 5-10 minute drive away. The rooms are great and the overall hotel campus is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend this for budget travelers.

6 days in Banyan Soul in Anjuna was a last leg of my Indian trip, and boy, did I pick well. Adorable, cozy, small boutique hotel was a perfect retreat after two weeks of sightseeing in Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. Located behind a German bakery (one if the most known restaurants in Anjuna), hotel is in a very quiet area, but steps away from a good meal. Hotel amenities are pretty basic, but rooms are clean, nicely decorated with nice veranda in front of every room. Hotel grounds and landscaping are absolutely beautiful. You can keep you cold drinks in a refrigerator at the reception, which is tended 27/7. Internet is solid. Walking is possible, but I opted to rent a scooter(250 rupees a day) which gave me much more freedom to go around and explore. Guys who work there were beautiful, and the owner, Summit is a lovely guy who really makes you feel right at home. Due to Corona virus situation and lot of uncertainty how to leave the country, Summit offered, in case that we are stranded, indefinite stay for virtually no money. I thing that was very, very nice from him. All in all, I had a great stay in The Banyan Soul. Keep up the good work Summit. Sasha.

If you are looking for a room in a quiet location in the Anjuna forest just 10 minutes walk from the beach then look no further. The Banyan Soul ticks all the boxes. All rooms identical with large comfortable beds, AC, attached bathroom with constant hot water and a small private terrace. The free WiFi is very good. And the staff are always around to help and advise. Sumit, the owner, is a lovely guy who makes all his guests feel very welcome and will help you with any issues you have during your stay. A real bonus is that the BS is located just behind the German Bakery which is one of the best and most chilled restaurants in all of Goa. Choose The Soul... You won't regret it!

Beyond 5 stars! Stayed here last week at this wonderful hotel. We booked hotel based on reviews. It lived up to its reputation of being a perfect hotel for that price and in many cases it exceeded my expectations. Hotel has the most wonderful staff, extremely kind and helpful with every wish. We loved having a roomy balcony in which to wind down after a day of walking on the beach and relaxing or reading book by Banyan tree on the premises. The room was ample size, the bed super comfy, the bathroom had nice fixtures, and good quality towel and toiletries. We had breakfasts and dinner in surrounding area. We had great selection of restaurants to choose in surrounding area. Looking so forward to going back, it is the perfect spot for a week getaway with family and friends. Thank you for a truly amazing stay! Your hospitality is quite outstanding.

Loved this place well maintained in the heart of Anjuna Aesthetically designed for a comfort stay away from home. Staff was very cooperative. We had a great time at this place. The upkeep of the room is at par with a Grade A resort great for one to enjoy their "ME Time"

Went back to Goa and the SOUL after a full two years ! Extremely delighted to see that nothing has changed in the intervening period . The Soul Still retains it's quaint easy going charm. The familiarity and relaxed environs is pretty addictive . Friendly faces of the staff and the owners pet pooch completes the package. I ran into a couple of guests from my last visit in 2017 which says something for the quality offered by this place . Spent a very relaxed weekend Friday through Sunday .A wave out to the Management .. Thanks guys

Though the place is good aesthetically and is at the perfect spot in Anjuna, there were lot of issues at the place. 1. Bathroom was not working properly and used to be wet. Since there was no ventilation in the bathroom, it always felt clogged in 2. Staff had to remind again and again if we needed anything. They provide service but are very slow. 3. TV in the rooms doesn't work. And when asked about it, there was only one channel which got played. 4. When asked to empty the dustbin....staff handed us the garbage bag and asked us to keep it outside, which was weird cause usually staff cleans and clears the room everyday at other place. In case we ask them to do it then too they clean the room at their own leisure time. 5. When called, I was told that the place is accessible but they have stairs at the entrance If this issues gets resolved then it is not a bad place to stay with friends or family.

Great location - staying here, we were a short ride away from the beach, night market and many restaurants. Since it was off season, roads were pretty empty and quiet but I'd imagine that this hotel is quiet even during the season as it's quite inside. For the price we paid, the room was lovely - clean and just what we needed. Only a few minor issues need to be looked at: upgrades in the bathroom - some of the fittings seem quite old, curtains could be thicker to ensure better privacy.

Having been in Jaipur for work, Goa seemed like a perfect spot for the holiday section of our trip. This accomadation was booked by our boss and we were unsure as to what we might find. We couldn't have been happier upon arrival. Air conditioned rooms, comfortable bed, flushing toilet (with toilet roll) and hot water for the shower. Be aware that due to no safes in the rooms, they will only clean the room when asked to save any problems with valuables being safe. Only 15 minutes away from the beach and a leisurely walk to some of our favourite food spots, this place was hard to give up and actually extended our stay twice!! It was a perfect spot for what we needed and I personally can't fault it. The staff were always more than willing to help. All issues (by issues I mean, extending of our stay) were easily handled over the phone with the owner if he wasn't on the premises. We'll be back for sure!!
