This is a historic home with real character that is now a bed and breakfast. It is located right in the middle of town so you can walk everywhere. Great breakfast buffet! The owner, Mrs Cynthia was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit again.

She made us feel welcome as we arrived and by the next morning over breakfast you would have thought we were staying in the home of an old friend as she had everyones name memorized. It's a neat old building with lots of character, but with all that character there are things you also get. Things like walls that are...

Our room was very comfortable but a little small. Decorated very nicely. Cynthia was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet was WONDERFUL. Hashbrown casserole, breakfast casserole, scrambled eggs with cheese and or spinach. Fresh biscuits. Delicious coffee, hot tea, orange juice, local jams & jellies, toast. Farmer's market right in the yard on Saturday. I gave it a four...

needed a place to overnight for 3 and Cynthia was wonderful taking care of 3 weary travelers; one was a big child and since there were no more rooms graciously added a very comfortable cot to the "Blue Room"; we were entertained by a wonderful blues band concert on site and then had a awesome breakfast thanks to "Manancy" :)...

I went on this trip with 3 friends. We were supposed to have 2 rooms with 2 beds in each room. The inn was having some remodeling done, so the innkeeper gave each of us our own room! The beds were very comfortable. There is a small sink in the room and the bath had a claw foot tub with...

This was our first time staying at a B&B and we weren't quite sure what to expect, but I have to say we loved it! Both my husband and I love history, so staying in a historic inn was so much fun. Everything is very cozy and comfortable! Cynthia, the innkeeper, was so sweet. She went above and beyond to...

We took a weekend get away and ended up in Mentone, Al on the advice of Southern Living. We spent the night at the Mentone Inn and had a wonderful time. The Inn was constructed as an in around 1925. Julia, the owner went out of her way to show us great southern hospitality. Breakfast was great and we met...

I have to admit that it took me a day to make the mindshift that the Mentone Inn is not a hotel it is a B&B. So, for example, there is hot water you just have to wait for it. Once I made the mindshift, I was able to fully experience the absolute craft Innkeeper Cynthia Stinson has made of...

Lovely quaint B&B with an outstanding breakfast! Rooms were comfortable and clean. The Inn keeper Cynthia was so warm and friendly as were all the locals. Our first trip to Mentone and first stay at a bed & breakfast. We will be going back!!

I was there for business but I cannot wait to return to simply sit on the porch and rock. Cynthia is a wonderful host and has obviously placed her heart into creating a warm, friendly inn. Although I was there for business, I made time to enjoy the porch and explore the inn. The ins has a great homey feel.
