We WILL return....either with friends are just the 2 of us! We had been told by former guests we would not be dissapointed, and were not!! By request, the Thomas' prepared a delicious meal the last night we were there.

We are return visitors and I'm glad we did! We don’t know exactly how long since Kris and Charlie became the owners but they make it the warm wonderful place it has always been. There is an "air" about this place that makes you feel like you're at home. Maybe it is the huge circular table that we all sat...

The Secret Bed and Breakfast lodge is situated at one of the highest points in Alabama and the views are superb. This in itself would be worth stopping for but the comfortable accommodation, good breakfast and friendly welcome from hosts Kris and Charlie, make this an experience to highly recommend.

My wife and i have stayed at The Secret numerous times under two seperate owners and it is always the most relaxing and enjoyable time. The current owners are friendly, attentive and always make sure you want for nothing (even just peace and quiet). Additionally, my daughter had her weeding up there in August and the owners went above and...

Have stayed at many bed and breakfasts. We absolutely adored the lodge, view, food, socializing. We will definitely go back. The beds were not as soft as we would have liked but everything else made up for it. Very romantic anniversary dinner at Classic on Noble in Anniston. Regarding LE1977 review, he obviously thinks his life and style are all...

Beautiful property on a mountaintop with views for miles! This is a famous local mansion with lots of history and well written stories in guest books provided by the inn owners. We had a wonderful time here and are glad to say it was worth the money spent for an escape from the real world.Nice staff and a good breakfast...

My wife and i wanted to spend a weekend away and stumbled upon the Secret. We are glad we did. Kris and Charlie are grand hosts that honestly cared about our comfort. Their hospitality has never been matched in any of our previous trips. The Nautilus (our cabin) was clean, comfortable, serene and spacious. And, the view, is spectacular!!! Don't...

The Secret is the best place to stay in the fall with all of the leaves changing and the view is absolutely indescribable. Everyone will fall in love with the place. The HUGE table built inside the house is definitely something to see. The people are a gem and the amenities are awesome. A little pricey for some but well...
