I will start off by saying that I think this place has a lot of potential if they could clean house and improve the facilities. It's a really great location with a beach on the premises and within walking distance of the port, aquarium, fort and bird sanctuary. One more positive note is that the employees were all very nice....

We stayed here for six days in mid-September. It was lovely. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the park is clean and well maintained. A big plus for us is that the park and beach is dog friendly. There is an Audubon sanctuary adjacent to the park with well marked trails. Lots of shade trees, pristine beach, and...

This campground was very well managed. The bath-houses were clean and the water was hot. Sites were a good size and down a short path was the ocean. The beach was clean and the water was relatively clear for the gulf. There is a small camp-store at the entrance that had everything we needed. The campground used to rent bikes...

We had a family vaca here, stayed for a week. As others stated, making reservations via phone is easy, as long as you don't ask too many questions. The office staff whether on the phone or in person are always in a rush to get rid of you. Upon entering the park our first impression was hmm lol It appears...

Campground is full of locals that stay the maximum 4 months and they bring their campers, trailers, boats, Gators, gazebos, patio furniture, smokers, and bicycles. Almost every inch of grass is covered and it feels cramped. 2 adult men that were there for the 4 month stay thought it would be very funny to scare an "outsider" by throwing a...

Tent camped here for a long weekend and was shocked at how close the beach was from our tent...a 5 min leisurely walk through a marsh area! Everyone was really nice and the bathrooms were outdated but clean. The campground was dog friendly and the only thing there is to worry about is the racoons.

This camp site left much to be desired. While the office staff were friendly enough there was often a long wait for service due to staffing shortages. As we were there on a holiday weekend the place was completely booked. That being the case, the restroom/shower facilities needing cleaning more often than the staff provided. And forget about Wifi access....

The good...nice location in island town, near bike trail and parks, enjoyed car show at Green Park and Art in the Park at Cadillac Park. The rest of the story.....Checked in to find they gave our larger site to a tent camper...young clerk didn't know why???then she asked if we wanted to pay balance due, or wait to see if...

If you call here for the purpose of questions being answered don't. The person who answers the phone is totally rude I was asking general questions about the campground and she was being totally horrible. I wanted to stay here in a certain time frame but very flexible she wouldn't even give me an answer about what was available. I...

We enjoyed our stay. We had a larger site near the access, trail through the pines to the beach. Friendly crowd. Wifi at the clubhouse was decent. Bath house was clean. It was winter when we were there so the before and after of taking a shower was a little chilly. We loved our visit to Bellengraft Gardens. We also enjoyed...
