Well I have booked from agoda for 3 nights which was a discounted price , but after 2 days when I was going to pay i was unable to complete the payment . I found out that it is a scam as the rate of the hotel was double the amount i booked for , fortunately I didn't go to.the hotel otherwise i have to pay double . I spoke to kaushik in front office and he told I can pay directly in the hotel with the same price , but may be he was not aware of the hotel price , and when I called him second time then he told u have to pay extra ,. Guys this is a scam from both agoda and hotel side . please before booking , when I told kaushik he was rather furious and told u can do whatever u want and u can review as well and he will revert me back , so u know what type of staffs are there in ethnotel . Stay away from the hotel and the agoda bookings Don't try to hide your staff mistakes by saying i have used abusive language , please check the telephonic conversation before saving your staff members and if so put that conversation details here…

This is a very good choice to stay near the Kolkata airport. We reached one evening, and caught the flight out of Kolkata next morning. It was a short stay, but overall we were very happy with their service, and also the food .

arrived early from UK flight but the hotel staff were very accommodating and let us check in early. Lovely hotel, amenities and food were good. the room was nice , clean and tidy. The staff were excellent and arranged a taxi for us on our next part of india adventure.

We stayed for five days in this beautiful property, which is conveniently located near the airport in Dec 2022. The property suits both for business and family stay purposes. Best part is the food, staff behaviour and seemless Wi-Fi connectivity. Must see is the magnificent chandelier that hangs all the way from the fifth floor to the ground. The hotel also has all amenities expected, including a bar, parking and concierge. Maybe something that might add to the positives if a personal safe/locker is made available in each room.

With prior booking thru Booking.com, we - a family of 5, checked in on 2nd Dec evening. As ID, passport of my grand daughter was given. She holds an American passport. The reception asked for her OCI card. If Identity is the issue, passport should suffice. They are not to work as immigration officers. When asked for what is the rule, we were rudely asked to contact booking.com as they were BUSY with other work. These people in the desk are totally unfit to serve in any hospitality service. Added to it, our second room was delivered to us more than an hour later, for doorlock problems. No checking of malfiunction all day long. Why? Incredible ETHNOTEL. Beware of it.

Stayed 5 nights in October due to official visit. Stay was perfect. During my visit they have tried everything to make my stay comfortable. They are very strict about the hotel policy but anyway that is manageable. I had ordered some special dish during my stay in breakfast and they have arranged it.
