Very nice property staff are very wellbehaved specially manish who surprised us by organising a candle night dinner for us food is also very good. A bit expensive in food, otherwise all good, will visit again
We stayed here for a weekend. Having heard such great reviews, we decided to stay for a weekend. The property was good but the experience was abosultely horrible. They claim themselves to be a 5 star property but there is no closeness to a 5 star property. For kids (under 3 years), they charges 1000 Rs for food, veg thali and non veg thali same price, no water in the washroom, hot water is limited, mosquitos. Absolutely horrible. There are better rajbaris in India (please check out Itachuna and learn how to run a rajbari - this is for the owners who are looting the customers in the name of luxury). Finally no one is wearing a mask. Even the staff was without mask. Forget guests. Damn we made the biggest mistake of visiting this place. Please be careful!!
This was my 3rd visit in this property. The Rajbari Bawali have maintained their level in terms of their service. Me and my wife visited the property on the occasion of our anniversary. We were surprised and greeted with floral and candle decorations in our room- we stayed at a Royal Suite. Rooms were clean and well sanitized. The Zamindari thali makes you feel royal with its exquisite taste of every item and their quantity. Service of every person working is just excellent to say the least. They were friendly and tried to accommodate to our choices. During dinner, they surprised us again with a candle light dinner arrangement at the roof top cafe. It was just mind blowing. Food was awesome and the ambience was too good. New arrangements include the rooftop barbeque and the snacks/beverages counter just in front of swimming pool. Breathtaking experience. Special mention for Jaruk and his team - he ensured that our stay is flawless and services are top notch. Only drawback/scope of improvement - Over expensive items and room charges. Perhaps providing substantial discount by redeeming points for frequent visitors would be an option to explore. …
Awful experience, exorbitant charge of food , veg thali and non veg thali are same cost non of the restaurant charge like this even they charge for dinner for two and half years babies non of the any 5 star hotels in kolkatta do like this. charges of room are not matching with facilities it is full of mosquitoes charging Rs 8000 to !0000 per day
The idea is great but execution somehow lacking. But at this price it pinches. Went for the classic heritage suite, checked into room 220. Thr property is great, but excessive use of led, chetak scooters and truck facia does not go with the heritage, the ages differ. Our room looked nice but had few issues, the poster bed was crooked and was shaky. We didn't mind it much as it was actually old, goes with the charm. But water seepage in bathroom and exhaust fan not working was disastrous for a room in this budget. The shyondhey arati was the best part. Food is terribly costly but portion size is good. We ordered meen moilee and salli booti, taste was bit bland.
