I have the earliest memories of going for a swim in the morning, having the signature tolly south-indian breakfast, attending a tennis class, coming home and going back to the club for an equestrian lesson in the evening. That was my daily schedule for my month long summer vacation for almost 10 years. Tolly has been an essential part of...

Lovely peaceful golf course setting setting and reasonably priced, but the rooms are a bit school-ish and the lay out is a mess of second rate new build. Staff were friendly enough after a bit of encouragement but surprisingly poor sweeping. Needs firm management with very high standards.

I stayed here 4 nights in February 2017. The weather was kind, so that helped a lot. The premises has many to offer. Since it was a business trip and I don't play Golf, I enjoyed the restaurant, Whiskey bar but found the rest of the day a bit boring. There is a small supermarket and a decent Gym on...

The service is epically bad. The Tollygunge makes its guests feel like a nuisance. Any small requests are treated with utter disinterest or contempt. An example: guest: I would like a taxi please. Reception: no reply. Then a major bafflement follows, as if it's the first time a guest has requested a taxi and absolute no help was provided but...

I was under the impression that Kolkata has the best Club culture in the country, and when a friend recommended that I stay there, I seized the opportunity. But I was highly disappointed by the rooms. Though large, they are very poorly maintained, bad quality furniture, seepage in walls, torn linen, etc. And the tariff I was charged was not...

A most well preserved golf club and has the colonial charm as well it seems the time stopped in the british era. With food and service preserved from the Raj Era. The club house is a great piece of colonial architecture. Though it is a bit snobbish club as members tend to be a bit elitist.

We love the Tolly Club it is so calm and tasteful amongst the incessant hurly burly of an amazing city. It's not a hotel it doesn't pretend to be a hotel, it is a members club with rooms and amazing facilities; golf, squash, tennis, equestrian horse riding, spa, hair salon, library, billiards, shops and oodles of character. Breakfast was great...

Held my marriage reception here. This is arguably the best club in Kolkata and one of the best ones in India. With a history going back well into the past, it retains that charm, grace both inside and outside. The services, gym, temperature controlled swimming pool among others are top notch. So is the iconic golf course. There is a...

It's literally massive and there are heaps of activities for the entire family - two pools (indoor and outdoor), 18 hole golf course, beautiful lawns, awesome food of the colonial era (steaks get a special mention), kids play area, horse riding etc. Members can sign nonmembers in to use the club. Rooms are also available for outstation guests. Here too,...

The best time to sit in the gravel area for a casual long drawn out meal, would be on a winters day with the sun out! Today, not being a weekend, we avoided the crowd but enjoyed lunch. Our diverse orders included , a famous Kolkata daab pani, masala peanuts, piping hot Cream of chicken soup, grilled bekti, with tartar...
