I visited there for a family wedding, Very basic and not a pleasant stay at all. Looks like a shooting ground. It spread over the place in a scattered manner. The entrance design is like a gothic palace but doesnt go with the place at all. All the reviews given on trip advisor earlier dsnt match expectation. No lift usage facility for elders. Very very basic

A decent stay. Location is a bit far from city and more suitable to those visiting IIM. The hotel was average in terms of rooms and services. Staff was decent too and overall it was decent and good stay.

Stayed here with parents for a night when I was joining IIM Calcutta. The rooms are damp and the service is bad. Breakfast was served slowly and otherwise too, the food options are limited. I think the rooms are priced high due to a monopoly of remotely decent hotels in Joka. If you're staying in IIM Calcutta for a course, try getting a booking at TATA Hall or MDC (Managed by Sarovar Portico) inside the campus. The rooms and food are way better and similarly priced.

I stayed here during my visit to IIM. This is a little far from the city so those who are coming for only city visit shouldn't stay here. Those coming to IIM or to that side of the city should prefer this resort. Staff provides you with all possible information regarding the city and also cooks as per your requirements. I am sure for many food and neat stay will be major requirement. Will go back there next year during my next visit to IIM.

The hotel has location advantage for people visiting IIMC only. This is located just opposite IIMC bank gate. There is nothing else to write about the place. Totally mismanaged , lifts not working and no fixed room pricing.

Perfect hotel if you are visiting Joka.. or for IIM Campus. Highest degree of cleanliness Awesome staff Safe 2 mins away from IIM and any other hotel in the vicinity is either far or absolutely disgusting to stay. We organised IIM parties and get together in their banquets - the kind of management and support given was incredible. Very helpful and supportive. the landline number usually do not work, however i called the mobile number and the booking was done in 2 mins. I sent a confirmation mail and voila DONE. If you are visiting IIM-C, then this is the place to stay, Right in front of IIM bank Gate. walkable. Breakfast is limited in Menu, but Yes very nice and served Hot. Food is also exceptional well. Vegetatrians can also enjoy a good meal with Room Services. Some of them might miss the Bar though. Overall Nice place in Jhoka...

On my visit to Joka, got booked in this Hotel.. to be honest I was not expecting anything great and by the look of the place (The greek kind of architecture made me think) .. but I got a surprise. First the rooms were neat, clean and spacious. The food they served had good taste and service was reasonably good. The corridor smelled of smoking and hope the hotel starts operations fully. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

I was doing a course in IIM-C for a year. First trip was last year Nov-12 and second was recent in Jun-13. In my first trip, I discovered this hotel in Joka. After three hours of continuous search for a neat & tidy hotel room, I found this club. Normally people travel out of Calcutta to Joka for fun only, hence all the places you find is unclean, dirty and seriously not maintained. Here the rooms are new, clean and the staff is super supportive. Breakfast and dinner was also good. No complaint on food. This hotel is value for money. Price range from 2.5 to 5k. Rooms get bigger and cozy as per price. In my second trip this month, there were another set of 40 students who opted for this hotel. Every one enjoyed the stay and were thanking me for discovering this. If you compare all the hotels / resorts near IIM-C campus this is 5 star quality. Must stay here if you could spare the above cash for a neat and clean place.…
